Walker replied to Bringbackbrylin's topic in HellMy wife and I are Rangers fans, but have been to several Devils games (not vs. Rangers), and have visited other NHL cities. It's fun to see other cities. arenas and teams. If you're a hockey fan (rather than just a Devils fan), I also recommend NCAA Div 1 hockey. Past "Frozen Four" events provided an opportunity to see players like Zach Parise, Tomas Vanek and Brian Gionta, among others.
My wife and I went to the Flyers game on Friday night - our second visit to The Rock. I know that Lou likes the tradition of organ music at a game, and normally I'm fine with that (my wife does not agree). I have to say that the organ "music" was particularly loud and bad. I said it "bordered" on an assault on the senses. My wife said: bordered? It was offensive. Overall, these arenas should just tone down the music - it is so unnecessary. Does anyone enjoy this? (Oh, that goal horn is also pretty bad - the Devils need to come up with something new.)
