Hoping he becomes a better John Moore. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. DEVILS SIGN DEFENSEMAN YOHANN AUVITU

Low risk move. This is exactly what Shero should keep doing, looking for bargain players from overseas. Kalinin, Mozik, now Auvitu. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Met Pete a few times, one of the nicest people you can meet. I really liked him as our coach, I was actually the only one on here who wanted Lou to get him in the 2011 offseason. Obviously it went down hill when we had to start retooling but he is a good coach when you have the horses. He pushes the right buttons when needed. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

The Killorn's goal was a ripper and perfect top corner, fleury was square to the shot there, its stoppable but it was a perfect top corner shot, hard to knock a goalie too much there, he had an inch to put it in and he did. The first Kucherov goal it's all Hagelin's fault. Look at the play he's leaving his side and goes on the other side to get him outside of the play while Kucherov (his guy) walked in all by himself. Fleury was taking the shooter there, he did was he was supposed to do and buddy got the puck on the other side wide open, Fleury had no chance, he had to take the shooter and the player had to get the pass. On the tying goal he went the rebound in the corner which is what goalies are told to do. Too bad Kucherov was coming with speed, picked it up and made a nice play but that play started with Crosby's turnover with his no look pass that got picked up by a tampa player. And the OT goal went off someone in front. That being said you could tell Fleury was a bit rusty but none of those goals were incredibly weak or anything.they are typical goals you see scored on any goalie in the league. again by no stretch of imagination am i suggesting fleury was stellar but to blame the loss on him is a stretch imo, none of those goals were really weak I feel like Murray is just always very well positioned, much like how Schneider plays. I think the Pens have a gem in him. We will see how this offseason plays out if teams knock on the door for Fleury. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Thats why I said it takes MASSIVE confidence to pull it off in a big game at that level. Thats the impressive part and gave him oodles of credit for. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Murray had no chance on those 4 goals He let in last game. Fleury was out of position the entire night and was lucky 5 or 6 did not go by him. I'd definitely go back to Murray for game 6.

Geez man, I was giving the kid a ton of credit, since you opened up pandoras box I will entertain this Yeah to be honest give me a clean breakaway on a NHL goalie and I can get that shot off easy at high speed, I am a good ice hockey player as an amateur. I have been playing in tournaments all across the country at NHL arenas, did Bridgestone two months ago. Will I score? Probably not, but you never know with that move when the goalie does not suspect it. Doing that move at high speed is not difficult at all, do I need to make a video for you? Because I have been doing it since I was 12. Now yes, doing that under pressure in a big game is the insane part and that takes MASSIVE confidence. The goal was great, my only point I was making was that pickup of the pass at high speed off the inside of your foot kicking it to your stick in between defenders is absolutely BONKERS, if you ever played hockey you know. I can't do that. The in between the leg shot? Yeah its easy to do on a breakaway Pressure or not. Like I said, it took amazing confidence to do that in a big game. Great goal. But that in between the legs move is easy to do. Highly overrated. Any player in the NHL, AHL, ECHL, WHL, OHL, KHL, etc etc can do that...see Marek freaking Malik.

Yeah I feel like the way JQ picked up that pass between his skates to his stick was more skillful than the goal! Yeah it takes a lot of balls to pull off that move but for a left shooter its a pretty simple shot to do. I do it a lot with my team, its a fun but relatively easy trick to do.
