  1. Sid will make the move into the NHL no problem. He will easily be rookie of the year, no matter what team drafts him. Just ponder this folks at 16 and 17 his stats are as follows (please see below) in a very competitive Junior League. Not to mention he really still has 3 years left in Junior after this season is completed. If he average his rookie season point totals all 5 Junior season he'd finish with 295 Goals and 405 assists for a total of 700 POINTS!Not to mention his rookie year 16 play off points in 10 games at 16!!! If Sid can stay injury free, he will be "The Next Great One". Hell think about this he's so marketable he's already signed huge (Million Dollar) promotional deals. His game used Team Canada Jersey was stolen and recovered and fetched over $12,000. Thats big bucks for a kid whom has yet to be drafted. He has natural hockey sense, which cannot be taught you either have or you don't, which is why he's compared alot to Gretzky. Gretzky had natural hockey sense he saw the ice so well and read plays before they happened......... 2. Any input on the Janssen vs McMorrow tilt. This is a rematch from Janssen's OHL rookie season, some 3 years ago!!
  3. Ya just new Canada wasn't going to let that little jerk get away with that Mocking from the US game. Not to metion him chirping off in the paper about Canada's goaltending, saying the goalies suck they just need to be shot on to win, they haven't been tested.
  4. Does anyone have a Janssen fight card handy they can post for me please...
  5. Thats the game Janssen plays, he uses his mouth, but backs it with his fists. It's the way he gets under the other teams skin, and hypes himself up. I'm not a big fan of mouth pieces on the ice, but if they back it, I'm ok with that.

  7. I herd Janssen did ok, giving up a fair amout of size. How'd the scrap go any info??
  8. Any input on the Janssen scrap would be appreciated. o the best of my knowledge Belak turned down Janssen earlier in the ex play.
  9. Janssen looked pretty good against the larger Jody Robinson in Bridgeport Saturday night. Hopefully, we see a rematch this coming Wednesday. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> You Albany fans will quickly love this kid (fan fav). He's a prime example of all heart, and his skill will continue to improve....
  10. Janssen and McGratton had a few heated bouts in the OHL... One thing I can say is Janssen will fight anyone, he tends to fight better against bigger guys, So size doen't matter to him...
  11. Just curious how Janssen played tonight (currently 2nd intermission), I see he had a few pims and a goal. I'm going to have to count on you Albany faithfuls to keep me informed on Janssen this season and in the future...
  12. That sucks, oh well it's a long season!
