$3.3M, 1 year for Jagr.

Way to fvck yourselves over this offseason, Flyers. Thanks!

Well, we'll see what happens. $3.3M is quite a bit of change for a player who will be 39 in February and has lost most of his dynamic play.

Read this a little too quickly ...

CraigCustance Craig Custance

Jaromir Jagr's agent Petr Svoboda confirms one-year deal w/Flyers: "It was pretty exhausting." http://t.co/qmLevAr

... and totally thought the Flyers had signed Petr Svoboda. And didn't think it was all that odd, given the way the Flyers are going this offseason.

GREENE UPDATE:

I'm hearing four years, 9.75M or a 2.44 cap hit. But that could be off, look for north of two though and south of three.

Nothing confirmed yet.

FOUR years?

Please for the love God, let it be at a low cap hit

FFS, there better not be any NTC/NMC.

A 4 year deal is a good thing when trying to trade someone

Boyd Gordon got $1.3 mil per season? Holy hell. Follow that up with Mike Smith at $2mil per season, and then Torres getting paid too? PHX is just tossing money around to hit that floor, aren't they?

If it's really $3.3mil for Jagr in Philly...they have $4.9mil remaining in cap space and still need to re-sign Voracek, Simmonds, and Leino...plus a depth defenseman.

Yeah, good call...short on value, high on control over movement. Seems to be something given out more and more these days, Lou included. Hoping if there's a NTC it's at least limited (list of 8 teams would not accept a trade to, etc).

Voracek got $2.25M. If all numbers are correct, then that would leave $2.65 remaining to sign Simmonds, Leino and a depth D-man.

I heard the Jagr/Philly talks were exhausting because Holmgren wanted to give him more money and years so the men in the white coats had to be called in.

Wow Jovo got crazy money. But it's FLA, and they need to spend it somehow.

When Jagr is playing net for Philly in Game 2 of the Eastern conference sem-final, I hope Ed Snider is proud of himself.
