Plane Crashes carrying Top HK Lokomotiv Team

237 posts in this topic

What an incredibly terrible off season for hockey. Lokomotiv is my second favorite KHL team :( this crap has to end. Can't this bad steak go plague bowling or cricket or something.

God look at how that thing went down on its side... Gary Bettman with a stinger missile I bet...

R.i.p everyone in the crash. Best of luck to your families, you hockey club and your fans.

Now they're saying Galimov died in the hospital.

When you have burns on over half of your body, the outcome is pretty grim.

Stefan Liv as well former HV71 goalie.

He was one of my favourites at HV (nearly purchased his jersey).

Undoubtedly. Frankly, if 80% of my body burned up, Id rather be gone.

Absolutely. I was just thinking I hope the majority of the team didnt feel anything besides panic right before the plane went down.

I hope we do something for Vasyunov as the rest of the team opening night.

ABC has posted the news on their website along with photos. There is one photo that is of a victim.

"Words cannot express what has transpired," Lamoriello said. "I knew a lot of players that were on that team."

Conflicting reports continue: Galimov is still alive, but unlikely to survive even after his emergency surgeries.

Feeling lost this morning. Sick to my stomach to hear about #Lokomotiv. Alex Vasyunov was a good friend and person. Just so sad to hear...
