1994 was a long time ago.

Messier's guarantee was empty and a win-win for him. If we didn't win, he showed passion and its forgotten. When we did, it became legend... (wait for it) ...dary

"Dude, who cares about the present, its all about the past history"

^Seriously, this is the number one comeback about how the devils have been better than the rangers for the last 15 years. "Who cares about the past, i live in the present"

I love the most recent; "Who's in first place? Check the standings!"

I like when Ranger fans actually buy Brodeur's jersey, rip off Bordeur's name & replace it with 'I Suck'.

Yes I've seen this happen.

i saw one (ranger jersey) with te #94 and MAAAAAARTY... i said oh, i guess you forgot what happened the next year, and it happened again 5 and 8 years later...

It doesn't matter when you can just keep celebrating the same Cup win over and over and over again, like the Ranger franchise and their fans do.

I'm waiting for them to retire Steve Larmer's number next.

I was thinking something similar...maybe Brian Noonan?
