Ollie McKraut
what is it with the intermittent offensive surges followed by extended scoring droughts this series? Really odd
slasher72
That Goal against really killed their confidence. I hope they can straighten it out in the intermission. If this team can't bounce back after being behind 1-0 we have some serious concerns.
MDPucks
Devils making Jose Theodore look like Patrick Roy, Grant Fuhr, and Curtis Joseph all rolled into one. I can look like all of those guys if the few shots being generated are shot right at my chest. I have yet to see the Devils make Theodore move at all or get traffic in front of him. Marty's had to be all over the place facing breakaways, 2x1's, 5x3 PP's.

eaglejelly
Devils making Jose Theodore look like the second coming of Damian Rhodes. I don't recall him having to make any great saves
NJDevs4978
Same ****, different game. It's always something with this team And yes the refs have been horrendous again, but I'm tired of complaining about the refs when we give up power play goals at the drop of the puck. Especially considering how badly the Devils lost their poise in that period with sloppy stickwork. Although I will say this, Dineen learned well from the diving school of Carolina. I don't recall him having to make any great saves He made a couple in the first period, but if you told me the Panthers put a cardboard cutout in the net during the second period I wouldn't have any evidence to refute that. slasher72
ok... score a goal, tie up the game and then get the game winner in overtime.
capo
Kovalchuk has no life in his body. Stephen Gio is only player with real jump in his legs.

slasher72
Watching Kovy in this game is like watching an 80 year old handicap driver behind the wheel of a Shelby Cobra. Both have plenty under the hood but are going nowhere.

slasher72
it's hard to score when the opposing team is on the powerplay for 85% of the game thanks to these diiickhead refs

Devilsfan118
Devils haven't generated anything offensively... But the officiating is AWFUL again. Awful.
NJDevs4978
I can't believe the Panthers are about to win a series on nothing but a PP and diving gold medals. This is why I hated the fact this team gave away Games 2 and 3, you just knew there'd eventually be a game like this where s*** went against us. Scott Stevens #4
it's hard to score when the opposing team is on the powerplay for 85% of the game thanks to these diiickhead refs Not! The fact is, we can't cycle and keep them in their zone and force their goalie to make some saves to save our lives.
hockey3893498
Devils haven't generated anything offensively... But the officiating is AWFUL again. Awful. its that way around the league. its terrible to watch. i think theres too many younger officials with not enough experience to handle playoff hockey and they turn these games into jokes. let players play until they do something that they deserve. calling ticky tack nonsense only waters down the competitiveness and enjoyment of the games. slasher72
Do the Devils have a legitimate scoring chance in this game? After this game, Jose Theodore is going to come into the Rock on Tuesday with an ego that can barely fit through the door.
