MadDog2020 Posted January 11, 2013 Share Posted January 11, 2013 Great piece on Doc tonight on Rock Center (the news magazine show with Brian Williams). They profile how Doc goes to Michigan to call a game in a Michigan youth girls league, they said the girls were around 12 years old. Anyway, only Doc could make a game between pre-adolescent girls sound like game 7 of the Stanley Cup Finals, but that's exactly what he did. He was working in those little Docisms, sprinkling in little facts about the players (he noted one girl wanted to be a veterinarian and that the same girl had hermit crabs as a pet lol). It was a really good piece, just wanted to see if anyone else caught it. Looking forward to hearing Doc call some NHL action again soon!
