Is this a Top Gear BBC joke? That is always how they announce the Stig lol.

Stan Lee probably owed the IRS a couple million dollars and needed to make some quick cash. Why else would he agree to put his name on this garbage?

The goal was to entertain kids and get them excited about hockey. I don't know if it was successful or not but I'll guess not.

This had my attention in the beginning. I still would have liked a comic out of it. A NHL comic would have been badass.

But yeah the way they executed this was piss-poor. All that hype...and for nothing.

HAHAHAHAHAHA. That is perfect. Yeah, I think we can safely say the NHL Guardian Project was the worst marketing scheme from the NHL in a good while, lol.

Poor birdie got sucked into a jet engine.

Didn't they make short comics for each "Guardian"? I think the Devil one had him saving a school bus full of kids or something.

Wait, found it before I even hit "Post".

should've been less comic book-ish and more cartoon (Gendy Tartakovsky style) oriented. I've got kids, and I'm sure they'd love NHL meets Super Hero Squad...
