Interview with Hedberg

21 posts in this topic

Found an interview with Moose in Swedish. Such a great guy and he's not bitter or disappointed over how things went over the summer.

I'll translate some interesting bits. Feel free to ask me to clarify anything in your Google translation ;)

- Will listen to offers from NHL teams. Still works out semi-regularly in case someone calls.

- Works for Devils with scouting and whatever they ask of him. Even cleaning apartments. Link between players and management.

- Likes the acquisition of Schneider, calls it a great pick-up.

- Says he's gotten great response from fans around The Rock during games, but is under no illusion that they want him back in net over Marty or Cory.

I think you are using the wrong definition of "cleaning".  Moose cleans up after he takes certain individuals to task.  Moose is the "cleaner"

I heard his next task is paying Kovalchuk a visit and, um, cleaning up.

Lou: 'hey moose, come in and take a seat'

Moose: 'oh thanks boss, what's this all about?'

Lou: 'well moose, i hate the way we had to end our great relationship, with cory and all, and i would like to start with a clean slate'

Moose: 'oh that's great boss, i'm so happy to hea...'

Lou; 'ok, so why don't you start with slates on Marty's driveway, thanks'

'Go in there, chill them ******s out, and wait for The Moose, who should be arriving directly.'

You know, I had this very different image in my head than you probably intended when you typed that......

Here a zoomed in pic I took of the owner's box with what I believe is Hedberg there.

Was from the last Habs game.

What section were you sitting in?

I was in a suite above the ice lounge but my camera has a 30x zoom and I got clear sight of the owners box from there.
