Bench captain useless Pete and Lou set themselves up for this and people should have seen this coming a mile away. It should be considered a fireable offense (among other things). Brodeur should have been told on Day 1 that he's the #2 goaltender. Like it, lump it or retire. Not this 1A and B nonsense. It was bad enough to even think that, let alone say it. By doing so, it just let the 500 lb gorilla in the room overrule what's best for the team. This should have been put to bed in September.
