2014 UFA Signing Thread

I'm changing my tune. I'm very pleased with the Cammy signing. Term might be a little long, but this team needs scorers.

Vanek's coming here. I have no sources, just a feeling.

wow. i must say, you're shot-in-the-dark, source-less statement actually has me excited that people can still consider it a possiblity.

Do your sources have anything to say about maybe, Moulson?

What the hell is Gionta thinking? Go anywhere else besides the Sabres. Unless this is his retirement contract.

The voices in my head cannot confirm or deny that the Devils may or may not not have not spoken to Moulson's camp.

I hope that helps.

Caps actually announce the term on Orpik, 5 years, $27.5 million. Thought they might have wanted to keep that quiet. LOLOLOL

 Thanks captain obvious. I think in that case we should not analyze or debate any of these signings today.

Fine genius. You asked what world...this one. Now get over it.

Stephen Gionta signing with the Sabres would be career-ending for him. He's already skating on thin ice (pardon the pun).

TG reported that we still have 6.5mill to spend.  Thats enough for another solid player, while only needing to resign Carter from the CBGB line...

Jonas Hiller to Calgary 2yrs, 4.5 AAV. Wow, i think i'd much rather go with Chad Johnson in net at 1.3 AAV..

Vanek to the wild, 3 years 6.5m per.

Great deal for Minny. I would of given him a fourth year easily.

Thank the lord we didn't sign him. I've never seen a more invisible player in the playoffs than him this year against the rangers.

can't believe we gave Cammy the same deal Moulson ends up getting.  Can't tell you how much i'd rather have Moulson.  My only hope here is that we did give him an offer but he turned it down
