Either way I don't think there was any doubt he'd eventually get signed. I got to watch a fair bit of him when he was at MSU back before this season and I liked his game. Played in all situations in NCAA and OHL action, ate minutes, was solid defensively, and loves to be physical. He doesn't have a shot though and his lack of an offensive game will limit his impact at the pro level. Looking forward to seeing how he develops in Albany.
