Nicomo
Just saw the Spitfires retired Hall’s #4. Question to any of the Canadian members, is it fairly common for numbers to be retired in juniors? Or is this somewhat special?

mfitz804
NHL.com article re: Hall’s point streak Most interesting fact is that in his last 26 games, Hall has more points than anyone on the team has FOR THE ENTIRE SEASON, minus Hischier who has 3 points more, and that’s probably entirely because of Hall. He outscored everyone on the team in only 26 games. Just give the guy the fvcking trophy.

Here's how other Devils have fared over the same time frame (since 1/2/2018): Hischier: 29 GP, 6 G, 11 A, 17 points Bratt: 28 GP, 3 G, 7 A, 10 points Palms: 29 GP, 12 G, 9 A, 21 points Butcher: 28 GP, 0 G, 9 A, 9 points Wood: 27 GP, 6 G, 4 A, 10 points Vatanen: 29 GP, 1 G, 19 A, 20 points (he's kind of flown under the radar...11 points in his last 10 games) Noesen: 27 GP, 5 G, 5 A, 10 points Zajac: 29 GP, 7 G, 9 A, 16 points So basically, he's nearly doubled the point totals of the guys closest to him in that time frame. Agree, in the true spirit of what an MVP is SUPPOSED to be, he's it...and he's in the Top 10 in points now, so it's not like his production can be considered "light" for an MVP candidate.
Steven M.
Even if the streak breaks, if this type of production continues, and the Devils make the playoffs I think it's more of a question how you DON'T give it to him. Just give it to him.
