PeteyNice
Cornell held on to defeat Ohio State 3-2. So, tomorrow's matchups: At Amherst, MA: (1) Univ of Denver vs (2) Univ of New Hampshire At Minneapolis, MN (1) Univ of Minnesota vs (2) Cornell Blah, I just realized that the Frozen Four is not for another two weeks. That sucks.

Sarge18
DU beats UNH 3-2 to meet CC in the frozen four.
PeteyNice
The first game is over. Denver got a late goal to break a 2-2 tie and held on to defeat UNH 3-2. Minnesota vs Cornell gets underway in about an hour. http://sports.yahoo.com/top/collegebroadca...TE0BHNlYwNsbg-- has the Minnesota audio for the game. So, the first game of the Frozen Four is set. It will be a rematch of the WCHA title game as Denver takes on Colorado College. North Dakota waits for the Minnesota/Cornell winner and it is possible that it will be a full wcha party in Columbus. Derek21
Cool. I am kind of surprised Minnesota got to the Frozen Four. They have the off-ice issue of Hirsch being hospitalized. edit: plus no Goligoski and aren't they missing someone else? That's great composure. And man, two OT wins. Clutch. The winning tally by Tallackson was a brilliant setup from someone on the doorstep. He had two cracks at it. I hope they beat UND and meet CC in the final. Derek21
Why does it seem so weird for them to play after almost two weeks? It really kills the build-up. I kind of parallel it to what happened after a week off with the Final Four.
