I don't know what we're all waiting for.

Lou is done for the day, he's was done when he saw the pricetags early.

He may think if he waits he'll get a deal, but at leats tell us whats up w/Trav.

Really hoping Єklund (2.3% accurate) (2.3% accurate) is wrong on this one...we just need SOMEONE in the middle.

Elias and Rolston are both LW/C. it's obvious.

Yup he is done for the day. You are right. LaRose would be a nice addition. Maybe tomorrow.

anything would be good. we just need some sort of a move that makes us better. not this waiting game while everyone else gets stronger. i woud love if that trade with the leafs is true. that would make our d stronger no doubt.

thefourthperiod: Havlat agrees to deal with Wild

Good place for him, a team that is used to a star forward in a suit in the press box.....

His brother is still with the wild I believe so that could play in a part in it.

Still hope. From TG:

And, though Lamoriello claimed he wasn't, "really anticipating anything unless there was something we felt made sense financially and could help us," he also the team might still sign some free agents.

"We're happy, but I'm sure we'll be doing a couple of things before it's over," he said.

One of those things might be re-signing UFA left wing Brendan Shanahan. Shanahan would like to return and Lamoriello wants him back.

"We still definitely are interested in bringing back Brendan," he said.

There's also talk still that the Devils might be in the running for Saku Koivu. The Wild also want Koivu, however, to play with his younger brother, Mikko.

Saku Koivu is in Finland, so it appears doubtful anything will be done with him tonight.

EDIT- whoops, just saw this had its own thread :doh1:
