HockeyR53
Can't say I want you for 5m but I still loved you as a player and wish you luck. You were one of the better players on our team this post season LOL AT HABS FIRST LINE Gio (5m) Gomez (7.5m) Camalleri (6m) Average height: 5'
TheRadHeedan
Can't believe he's gone, still weird reading the article. I still think something could have been worked out, I didn't hear about an offer from Lou? Am I missing that information, because I haven't read it, and I think he would have taken a pay cut to stay in NJ. I don't care about Madden being let go, he should've been in the AHL last season with the way he was playing. I do find it humorous that Gainey believes or "hopes" Gio can have a 75-80 point season. devilsrule33
Just saw this. This blows my mind. Was Gainey bidding against anyone for Gionta? Talk about a false market NHL free-agency day creates. Gionta is actually getting a raise. This is insane. I hope Brian knows what he is getting himself in to. This could get ugly. Marshall
Wow, I love Gio as much as the next guy but this is beyond ridiculous. $25 million for a guy that's only broken 25 goals once in his career?! I guess Gainey and Sather are competing for the worst GM of the league award. This.
Revan
So, where's that guy who ripped me for saying Gio is gonna get 5 milion on the free market?
devlman
I'm really happy that I never have to see him come in and take a sh!tty shot from a long horrible angle anymore. ...while a free patrik elias awaited a pass that never came.
pattyelias
I hope Brian knows what he is getting himself in to. This could get ugly. A much higher tax bracket?
