Don't get lost
I think I can manage getting to the garden
Did they ever find that girl who went missing at the concert in pittsburgh?
you are a little prick
i don't think that was pittsburgh, and no, they haven't found her.
Just asking a question. And yes they did, I did not know but thanks for the internet tough guy show.
I saw a band that played on the floor in a small room in Williamsburg last night and I was close enough the guitarists sweat was landing on me, this is why arena rock will forever be inferior.
Not tonight. But...I AM GOING TOMORROW!!!!!
Me too!! Saw them in Albany on Thursday and it was awesome! Can't wait to see 'em again at the Garden!!
So let me get this sraight.........you enjoyed the sweat, or it disgusted you?
god this show was awesome. i hope i get my hearing and voice back by tomorrow night's show.
by far the LOUDEST crowd ever.
also, MSG is a complete dump. i dont care about the 'history', the Rock trumps that arena in every possible way.

Getting to see Motorbreath and Battery live was AWESOME.
Some highlights from tonight at the Garden were Creeping Death (always awesome), Dyers Eve (!!!), and a total Metal Militia tease.
The show last night was incredible. I LOVE creeping death and fade to black live, and I was so happy to finally hear DYERS EVE! shortest straw and trapped were awesome surprises too.
Did they play Seek & Destroy in its entirety?
Yep, they even extended it a little bit.
Such an awesome show last night... wow.
filmers filmed both shows, 3 cam mixes for each. i'm going to try and acquire both nights.
Checked MoP from the Garden, that crowd was on fire.

Please let me know how that goes--how much he's charging and how all that works out.
I definitely planned on getting the MP3 CD off Metallica's website. A video would be amazing!
EDIT: Just listened to a few of the YouTube videos. I noticed under the information box, it said DVDs will have "soundboard audio." The picture is pretty damn good, but the YouTube audio sounds like the concert was recorded in a combination of a tin can and a men's bathroom. What's the deal?
this is what the sbd audio sounds like: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xXGmhCDGDRw
thats what the dvds will be dubbed with.

If its recorded off the soundboard they have different receivers to get the "real sound" before it hits the crowd so it is slightly different. Sometimes the singers voice is a bit higher and in the case of a band like Metallica, they probably deepen it, even in life performances. It's probably a bit thinner than the live quality too because they want to kill the crowd noise for a sound audible to a crowd to buy.
I just found out he's charging $25 + S/H for the DVD's, which come with "pictures, case and color artwork (artwork offered for 2009 shows only) for you via first class mail or via air mail if you are outside the usa"
