N.F.L Divisonal Playoffs

Recommended Posts

That's why I guess im even more nervous because everyone thought the Ravens were gonna give the Colts "a game," and didn't. I don't want to give the Chargers "a game." I want to win. And honestly, I can't see it. I hope they do not only because I'm a Jets fan, but to shut up all of the other fans that wrote off the Jets, and called their getting into the playoffs "cheap." It would have been "cheap" if they lost to the Bengals the 2nd time, which honestly a lot of people thought would have been an easy game for them. 2 more wins boys, LETS fvckING GO!

To be honest with you, the Ravens making the playoffs was cheap, they are a fraud, they have no offense and the division they play in is the weakest in the NFL along with the NFC west.

The Jets have a shot.

How was it cheap or how were they a fraud? You sound like a bitter Jets fan that is upset people pointed out that 2 teams laid down in the last 2 weeks of the season which allowed the Jets to squeak in. The Ravens offense has it's deficiencies, but they do have a huge playmaker in Ray Rice. Their defense can create turnovers. They are not a bad team.

...and the fact that it was Brett Fraud who threw 4 TD's to end them, makes it even sweeter.

Seeing Brooking cry at the end of the game, like the little fvcking b!tch he his, put the cherry on the top for me.

You mean Ray "no show" Rice, he's a playmaker alright, for the other team.

...what is it? 4 fumbles in the last 6 games, or something like that? I think opposing teams have solved Mr. Ray Rice. Hit Him....... HARD!

That was rough, man. You know what, it was a good season. I'm not disappointed, nor am I going to say what a pathetic job the Cowboys did. I hope the Saints take a dump on the Vikings, but lets go AFC playoff team.

Good luck Jets fans; I can't say I'm rooting for you, but for the people on the board who are actually Jets fans.. Beezer especially.. good luck to y'all. (As opposed to the other Jets fans who have recently jumped on the bandwagon).

18 years old is a little too early to be plastered at 4:30 PM, but the game my Boys put up warrants it.

120 yards from scrimmage and 1 lost fumble by a perfectly placed helmet to the football was certainly a 'no show'. flacco was also setting himself up to get killed on some of those dump passes, too. you're certainly talking like a jets fan.

the cowboys game was a complete and total disaster.

There's no reason not to be disappointed. But there's also no reason to think that we can't be back next year, provided we get a few more receivers.

Let me re-phrase that. I'm not disappointed with the SEASON. We beat the Eagles 3 times for chrissakes. People said we wouldn't even win 7 games, and we won the division AND got a playoff monkey off our back. It was a good season.

Wow, what a terrible reversal, that definitely looked like a catch and fumble. At the very worst, there wasn't sufficient evidence to say that it was an incomplete pass, and since the call on the field was a catch, you therefore can't overturn it. Sh!tty call.

Let me start off by saying, this has been a great season to be a Cowboys fan. I can't discredit the way we played football this season and to add to the fact, we finally won a playoff game. I will however say, it's hard to go out like that. I understand, if you don't win a Super Bowl, then you didn't accomplish what you set out to this year. But as a fan, have a little faith in your team.

We have a strong core, people like Keith Brooking, they make us who we are; a team. Please don't compare us to the 2008 Dallas Cowboys, because though we went out in pretty terrible fashion, we went out as a team. Shaun Shuisham didn't lose this game, Marc Colombo didn't lose this game, Wade Phillips sure as hell didn't lose the game, the team lost it. Keep this team mentality and we'll have a lot to work with in the future.

You've got to understand something, this game wasn't bad for Tony Romo. It will one day turn out to be great motivation for both the team and Romo. Now, knowing Tony Romo, we'd like to think he's going to have a hard time sleeping tonight. He put his heart and soul into this team and at the end, it collapsed on them. We may not want to admit it as fans, but this might be a good thing. Because if I'm Tony Romo, I'm thinking that the Minnesota Vikings beat us today; and even though we looked like a shell of ourselves the previous few weeks and the whole season really, they still beat us. And that right there, should make Tony Romo want it even more.

Failure's something a lot of people have a hard time accepting, myself included. But on the outside looking in, failure can be a good thing. Folks, you're not getting anywhere in life without failing at one point in another. But a team, which is what I think we have, the Dallas Cowboys have, will come together and come back stronger. You have to grasp failure and use it as motivation. Add fuel to the fire.

Now, there's no doubt about it that a lot of people were let down today. Crasher, UDX, me, Metallidevils, the players, the fans, the coaching staff.. and they have to be accountable for that. But for the first time, I'm not worried whether or not they will be. I don't see anybody play the blame game tomorrow. I don't see Wade Phillips getting "disheartened" and quitting, I don't see Miles Austin blaming Romo for not getting him the ball enough, I think the whole team will blame themselves. As they should, they got knocked down today. And it didn't kill them, so they're going to get back up and they're going to come back stronger.

Am I saying that they're going to win the Super Bowl next year? No, I'm not going to say they won't, but I'm not declaring them anything this early, but what I will say is that they're not going to be kept down like that again. Romo is too much of a competitor for that. Last year, the Eagles kept us down. They mentally killed us that last home game, it wasn't the game and the implications it had, it was the Eagles. This year, it wasn't the Vikings, it was the game itself. Now this year, we showed the Eagles that last year wasn't going to happen twice. Next year, we've got to show ourselves that we aren't going to beat ourselves twice. And with this team, or with the core of it rather, I'm faithful that it will happen. Let me put it this way, if we make it to a divisional playoff game next year, we will win it.

Another thing is, don't be too hard on the Cowboys after today. Yeah, it sucks, but a lot of things suck. It's not like they've done this type of stuff all year and they have to be accountable for it in the future, but at the end of the day, it also goes to show that anybody can beat anybody on a given day. That's right, the Oakland Raiders from 2009 could have beat us in 1995 in a playoff game. Everybody has an off day, today was our off day. I'm confident that next year we will take another step forward, remember y'all, this year was a step forward and last week was a huge part of that.

You guys might find me crazy, maybe I'm 18 and young and don't know nothin' yet, but this is what I truly believe. And I know any true Dallas fan won't stop believin.

C'mon metallidevils. You know what I'm saying. "What don't kill ya..."

Unclutch kickers = 2009 NFL playoffs

Nate Kaeding is the new Mike Vanderjagt. He can kick 30-35 in a row, but the minute it's a big one...he chokes.

...oh for sure. Because of them, we're in this position. Had the Dolphins not choked it up, the Jets would not be 1 win shy from winning Lamar Hunt.. they'd be on the outside looking in. They should send Miami a Thank You card should the Jets make it to the Superbowl. B )

Keep the faith. A lot of pundits think the Colts are infallible, they ain't. If you can get pressure on Manning, you'll sack him easily because he, like Brady have feet of cement. Also, the Colts are not brilliant at stopping the run.

Again, the Jets have a shot, but they must get pressure on Manning, if they do, he panics, gets frustrated and throws picks.

I hope you guys beat the Colts and Manning, they are boring and Manning has the personality of a rock. It must run in the family.
