I wouldn't his play went way downhill the last time he took it, if he is the leader w/o it then he doesn't need it. If it isn't broken don't fix it.

I think NJ will use the C to get Parise to stay, if anyone on the team deserves it besides Elias it would be Arnott.

Without Langenbrunner, Elias is the best choice for captain. Even if Parise does come back, give it to Elias.
