TheRedStorm
You see this is why the Rags are cooked regardless of if they win game 7 tomorrow. Once again an unnecessarily long first round grind against an inferior team, just like Ottawa, Wash in 2012, Wash in 2013. They were steamrolled today...no killer instinct. SOFT The Rangers win this series tomorrow. I didn't think this would go 7 as the Rangers have an edge in defense and goaltending, but the Flyers seem to be using their speed and quickness well, plus Mason is playing elite level. The Rangers are a different team then in 2012 and even 2013 and with a different coach, so i don't think it's a pattern with their game 7's. It might be more true that they aren't that much better then the teams they are playing, but just enough more to win over a 7 game series. The Rangers might even be favored to beat Pittsburgh in some circles, too. If MAF is going to continue to play like he has and the Penguins showing they can be grit and grinded away, it's not out of the question the Rangers can beat them. I think the Flyers and Penguins would be an entertaining series if it came to it. But, we might be due for a surprise or two anyway so maybe the Flyers pull it off tomorrow. Then see if Minnesota can upset and if the Kings can join a very exclusive club.
montec24
With the disclaimer coming that home ice advantage likely results in a Rangers win tomorrow. Edited April 30, 2014 by montec24

Jimmy Leeds
Yeah...........I just can never help myself to go back to '94 and think if Chorske hadn't hit the post in a wide open net from 4' out in the 2nd period of game 6 in the ECF........it would have wrapped it up and made it still 1940. Even that 1 Cup i begrudge them. They deserve nothing.
MadDog2020
I think they should raise a banner at the Garden for that stat. Maybe drop some confetti and pop off a couple fireworks.

Colorado Rockies 1976
Hate Philly. But mason has been Stellar pretty much all year. Goalie problems seem solved for that city. I remember thinking the same thing with Brian Boucher in 2000. Flyers just seem cursed from a goaltender standpoint.

But he hasn't been great so far this postseason, and Mason is outplaying him. If Lundqvist doesn't have a big game tonight (I think he'll get a pass if he plays well but loses 1-0 or 2-1), he'll start hearing more about not being able to get over the hump. That 0-11 will start getting more attention, especially since his numbers in those 11 are pretty brutal.

Devilsfan118
Damn it I'm almost sort of liking Flyers fans a bit during this series...normally I'm not a big fan of this kinda stuff but..fvck the Rangers and their fans, especially if they go into a visiting building and start sh!t. DJ Eco
Tom Gulitti @TGfireandice Rangers fan being pummeled by group of Flyers' fans in a fight. Tom Gulitti @TGfireandice Security is trying to break it up. Some guys still not separated. Fight is in upper deck to left of press box. We know better than to take the Rangers' fans side. We know EXACTLY how this played out. The simple fact is that Rangers fans don't really make it to a lot of games, they say it themselves. The average "diehard" Rangers fan has probably been to two Devils-Rangers games at The Rock, the Yankee Stadium game, and probably some game they got tickets for from mommy on their birthday. They really don't know "how to act" at a hockey game. They go to a few games a year that they can afford and go balls to the wall with the alcohol and spouting their mouth off. Ticket prices went down a bit on StubHub, Rangers fans probably thought it'd be cute to go to Philly and "see the Rangers win". We see how they act at The Rock, and they mostly get a pass. Rational Devils fans and our security will usually calm situations down in our arena before they escalate, but these 3-game-a-year fake hockey fans went into Philly and did not know how to act. Especially considering how ugly the scoreline got, I'm sure they couldn't deal with whatever verbal abuse they were getting. I'm 98% sure they had it coming and have seen enough tweets from fans that were there that imply as much. Derlique
Jesus, both parties here acted like total trash. No doubt, Rangers fans are easily the worst visiting fanbase I've seen at the Rock. They are disrespectful, taunt when they are up, talk **** when they are losing and start annoying chants. That Philly fan at the end of the video who pushed that dude down the stairs is such a coward. Anyway, I can't wait for this series to be over so I can stop rooting for the Flyers Damn, I missed the second video where the two Flyers fans are pummeling the fan in the face while lying on his back Edited April 30, 2014 by SMantzas
bostondevil11
Rangers fans are annoying and talk a lot of sh!t but Flyers fans are violent. I'll take trash talk over being afraid of being put in the hospital. Can't both these teams lose? I hate them both so equal.
Zubie#8
Lol it's almost expected that these guys were wearing a freaking Oshie jersey, Nash jersey, and a freaking Giants hoodie.
