thefiestygoat
Go Giants! I'm hoping I can see the game but I have no idea if the people I'm going to have the NFL network and I think I may be leaving with the people I'm going with during the game. Not a fan of holidays, I'm thankful everyday for what I have not just today, rather just be at home chilling and eating Mickey D's instead. thefiestygoat
What a horrendous first half for the Giants on both ends of the ball. Hopefully they can get a quick TD before the end of the half and get back into this game. Hell, at least get a FG to get on the board. Beezer34
It looks like the Giants are out of it now. ...how? If they beat Dallas next week, they're only one win away from the Division lead. (WITH the tiebreaker)
Hi, I'm VALUE!
...how? If they beat Dallas next week, they're only one win away from the Division lead. (WITH the tiebreaker) If the Giants beat the Cowboys and Eagles, they're still in good shape. But now that they're a 5-loss team, they don't have much room for error since there are two 4-loss teams ahead of them, one of which has beaten them. Losing to the Cowboys OR Eagles dooms their playoff run. The only good news for the Giants is that their last three games are all potentially win-able (WAS, CAR, MIN in week 17 unless they are fighting for home field throughout) Edited November 27, 2009 by Hi, I'm VALUE! MantaRay
One word to describe Thanksgiving football games this year: FAIL Agree. Aside from having Aaron Rodgers as my fantasy league QB, the games on Thanksgiving just sucked. Who wants to watch the Pop Warner quality of the Raiders???? CRASHER
Agree. Aside from having Aaron Rodgers as my fantasy league QB, the games on Thanksgiving just sucked. Who wants to watch the Pop Warner quality of the Raiders???? Because the Raiders didn't beat the Eagles and the Bengals this year??? (sh!t that's more quality wins then the high-holy VIKINGS have ) The Raiders have a good and dangerous defense that scared the piss out of me going into that game, frankly I was amazed that game wasn't closer then it was! and the Lions and Cowboys will both go through downswings... you can't not crap on the tradition by moving them when they suck... really it should have been two bad teams.... anti-football on Thanksgiving... the country would have jumped for joy to see Browns and Lions!!!! MDPucks
Next year's Thanksgiving could be: CBS: New England-NY Jets @ Detroit FOX: Chicago-NFC South-NY Giants-Washington-Philadelphia @ Dallas Unless Dallas completely falls off the wagon that NFC South game will either be New Orleans or Atlanta. The Raiders are a joke. Just because the Eagles and Bungles did not take them seriously is more of a statement on their preparation. Not suggesting Lions/Cowboys off Thanksgiving, I would have rather have seen Oakland/Detroit and GB/Dallas. Thanksgiving was boring an predictable outcomes. Not suggesting Lions/Cowboys off Thanksgiving, I would have rather have seen Oakland/Detroit and GB/Dallas. Thanksgiving was boring an predictable outcomes. Good teams have bad days, bad teams have good days... when the two combine weird things can happen.... but discrediting the fact that the Raiders do have a good defense that can win a game or two is foolish though.... FOX/CBS is NOT going to give you 5-star games on Thanksgiving, because they know you're watching anyway and would rather save it for Sunday Afternoons... the main problem of the day was the Giants FAILS So did I hear right, the Steelers gotta play the #3 QB this week?? devilsrule33
John Fox...you're a good guy and part of me respects you going down with Jake this year, but enough is enough. Jake is awful. Absolutely awful. He can't hit an open target. Everything he throws sails on him. He has no pocket presence. He just sucks right now. Today was just another pathetic game from Jake. End the suffering. I feel bad for Matt Moore. He has to be thinking that the coaching staff has no faith in him, if they are sticking with Jake. The funny thing Moore looked good a few years ago in 3 games as a starter going 2-1. Thanks for the memories Jake but see you later. I actually feel bad that the coaching staff hasn't thrown in the towel with you because it has gone way past the point of embarrassment. NJDevs4978
If that were the case wouldn't he have won the Washington game? I mean they had to have been more than a three-point dog...he wasn't picking against the spread, he was picking the upset and almost got away with it
