After the Ottawa game a few weeks ago, I was getting Zach's autograph as Bobby was getting into his truck when he said this: Bobby: "Zach, stay away from the coach." Zach: "Why's that?" He said my shot parted his eyebrow. Hilarious." The shot parted his unibrow, lol! That was some fine self-deprecating humour Mr. Holik. I actually used to hate the crap Holik always said. Back in the day he used to call the team out all the time, and he didn't really back it up with his own play. He seems to have mellowed a bit and have more fun with the press this time around. His presence in the room wasn't universally lauded when he left last time. I think Madden with Rolston was nice - just to get Madden's skates moving so he doesn't have to think so much. and Holik is being funny... Sutter is making me really pleased - I feel we as fans are on some solid ground and I don't think I've felt that way for a while. I'm not excited about Shannahan - but that's Lou's trip - no big deal in any event. I'd rather have gotten Neids back if we had to bring someone back into the fold -- but whatever. oh wait a sec...
