And for someone who said earlier in the thread why so much emotion over a simple song, you sure have posted a bunch in this thread, I'm truly trying to figure out if you are just trolling at this point, especially since you seem to be all over the place with your arguments, keep saying things that were shown not to be true in earlier posts. I'm not even sure if you know your exact point at this moment cause you are all over the place. Did they play it? I didn't watch any preseason games. Fans saying they won't go back to games and will mute games when they watch at home. Fans saying they won't get seasons tickets. Guess you can't argue with the passion of some fans. That's one thing. I think this is exactly why letting fans decide a new song was never going to work. They wouldn't get over the fact the song is changing to take part in a new song contest. That Facebook page is just..it's beyond frustration. It's just the stupidest our fanbase has to offer, concentrated in one place. Not sure what licks to use, but that's something that was spontaneous that could have legs. I would like to point out that the line "your mom threw away your best porno mag" greatly offended me since I had several porno mags confiscated from me in my youth. Also, fans of other teams may not find it classy enough and that is how we should judge our goal song. I'll see which Beethoven songs fit best... Both the you suck chanters and Sterling are trying to be clever, when in actuality they're just being infantile and insecure. It's just as stupid as dumb Ranger fans with the Potvin sucks chant. Basically Ranger fans are willingly reliving a time when the Isles were eating their lunch, just so they can think everyone else in the world thinks they're clever and have "traditions". That Devils fans mimic it with random Ranger suck Flyers swallow chants is even worse. The Rangers suck so much, that some Devils fans try to copy everything their idiotic fans do. Don't get me wrong there is always a time and a place for trying to get under the visiting team's skin and mocking them.
