Legion15
http://www.nj.com/devils/index.ssf/2014/01/devils_winger_dainius_zubrus_is_a_music_man_and_the_teams_dj.html Dainius Zubrus is a banger, creating havoc on the ice to open up space for Devils linemates Jaromir Jagr and Travis Zajac. So it might seem incongruous to picture the 6-foot-5, 225-pound winger gently dropping the needle on a vinyl Miles Davis LP he has just carefully removed from its cover, and then relaxing in front of the fireplace to the sounds of classic jazz before dinner. He's a huge fan of Bon Jovi. Tolerates country music, but not before games...
Devil Dan 56
I remember him being responsible for all the dance music in warmups a year or so ago
cgb6397
I remember a team interview during the '12 cup run, the likes of Greene and Clarky shat on Zubie for playing techno haha

DevsMan84
Must have been a slow news day for chere to bring up a story that has been reported on every season for at least the past three seasons. This story usually comes out around this time of the season too.

DJ Eco
Relatively speaking, we have a pretty old school team (and old, period). Everyone likes rock, classic rock, and some country for the most part, with guys like Zubrus and the Swedish kids being the obvious exceptions haha... The differences were glaringly obvious during the past few "24/7" and other features, where there's a lot of kids on the Rangers, Leafs, Kings, etc., playing hip hop and pop music in the locker room. Revan
So it might seem incongruous to picture the 6-foot-5, 225-pound winger gently dropping the needle on a vinyl Miles Davis LP he has just carefully removed from its cover, and then relaxing in front of the fireplace to the sounds of classic jazz before dinner. Zubrus has a few playlists, ranging from more contemporary dance tunes to ’80s and ’90s rock — think Guns N’ Roses, AC/DC and Metallica — and numbering between 50 and 100 songs each. Wow, for whatever reason I was sure he only listened to some modern dance/pop crap. Kudos to him. Edited January 6, 2014 by Revan
Jmorc2003
Ugh... a fan since probably '85 or so (I was in first grade) but this team is lame. No swag, no spirit. At least when Parise, Kovy, and Clarky were around, there was something interesting or exciting happening.
