Scott O Posted April 28, 2009 Share Posted April 28, 2009 Born in New Jersey (Sewell), but I've been living in Kansas City for almost 20 years now. Been a Devils fan the whole way. I play hockey in a couple of different leagues here and played a little in college. I'm glad Kansas City didn't get the Pens a couple of years ago for the following reasons: 1. Kansas City as a whole has a terrible fanbase for hockey and it would be bad for the NHL to put a team here. 2. I couldn't root for anyone but the Devils 3. I hate Pittsburgh. ^ so please don't put me with that group - I'm glad KC has a brand new arena that is used for nothing but over-priced pop concerts and the occasional NCAA basketball game.
