smelly
#4) Gut feeling The same gut that has predicted Maple Leafs success for the past 36 years? You may turn out to be right, but, for some strange reason, your reason #4 gives me A LOT of confidence!
Triumph
#1 is the only legit reason, luck and destiny won't mean a thing when the Devils win Game 5.
NJD
I'll stop watching hockey if the name Mighty Ducks ends up on the cup.
StarDew
Like anyone should, could or would believe anyone named Tie...the only thing Tie knows is his name will never grace Lord Stanley's Cup because you need to win not tie
westcoastdevfan
I'm sorry but I'm gonna have to agree with Tie on this one. Devils Ducks in 6.

westcoastdevfan
This guy said the Sens would win over us and he was wrong. He's going to be wrong again. in the name of Devils hockey I hope your right! I live with these people, these so-called Duck "fans." I would have to come back to Jersey just to escape the taunts and the ridicule. Nah, not really, but it sure would suck. ladyshrouds
The Ducks can't win the cup! I will cry!
njdevils783
Devils win ill be happiest person around, losing in the finals for the 2nd time in 3 years is gonna be something really hard to deal with as a fan. Are we gonna have to admit that this team just is not good enough to go all the way. Devils lose this series and it may for some people to open there eyes and realize that its not the team we were in 2000.. Another thing will you people shut up about the ottawa series.. he said this she said that blah blah blah WILL YOU ALL GROW UP... With that said I said some stupid things after losing last game and started arguing and saying stupid things in the chat... looking back I realize that most of the stuff I said made absolutly no sense ha ha As for this acutal post um... your reasons all suck 1. Giguere is still over rated 2 and 3 are like momentum... THEY MEAN NOTHING and as for your got feeling see previous DEVILS IN 6 BABY GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO DEVILS

Beck27
Hockey is a funny sport. Destiny and luck seem to to make a big difference in hockey up until the bitter end. The way this series has turned makes me wonder if Eisner has made a deal with the Devil...how else can you explain the Angles? However, if the Devils believe everything is against them, then they will lose. I'm still angry about Marty's quote about being unlucky in OT. The game 3 fluke goal was luck, but it didn't have anything to do with those ot losses. Both were due to defensive breakdowns (a lost faceoff, and a total 5 man breakdown). If they can come out with the same F#@k you attitude they did in the first two games, then its Bye Bye ducklings. But if they lose the mental battle again, it probably will end in six. We'll see I guess, I'm still angry about those two losses, but at the same time believe this team can get it done. When all is said and done, the Cup is never just handed over...it is earned. So may the best team win.
Lady Stanley
C'mon West Coast Devs Fan (Lady Stanley "lightly" smacks the face of West Coast Devs Fan to WAKE HIM UP!!!) You are obviously beginning to ride the West Coast Wave of thinking the "Mighty (cough cough) Ducks" actually have a shot! Our East Coast boys are tough and have been here before. They have experience. They have grit. They have heart. They have passion. They have integrity. Someone (not a BIG NAME STAR, mind you) will step up to the challenge. They are DEVILS!!! They play best when their backs are up against the wall. They seem to enjoy making all of our hearts palpitate faster and make our hair turn grey overnight. They will bring the cup home! Now, get with the program!
NJDevs4978
#2) Extreme Luck#3) Destiny What was the Curt Schilling quote from the World Series two years ago, 'Aura and mystique are dancers at a nightclub?' Actually this series is starting to resemble the 2001 World Series in a way; the Yankees even as 3-time defending champions were supposed to be the 'team of destiny' after their dramatic home wins in Games 4 and 5 (and especially after 9/11)...but they lost all the road games and the series in 7 games. Lady Stanley
What's happening to all of you people?? You don't think the Devs can pull 2 out of 3 games? What kind of fans are you?
NJDevs4978
LS in my analogy Devils = D'Backs and Ducks = Yankees. The D'Backs won the series against the so-called 'team of destiny' by winning all the home games so don't worry about me And wcdf? Let's just say he's playing possum
westcoastdevfan
*SMACK* Devils in 6!
Lady Stanley
Now, that's much better!
HockeyMom
1. Not impressed 2. Can't argue about the fact that they have had extreme luck. 3. Destiny won't know until it's over 4. Gut feeling - not applicable because my gut says the opposite so we cancel. Now... why I think the Devils will win: 1. Heart 2. More talent 3. Home ice advantage 4. Better Defense 5. Because I said so!
CHICO IS GOD
Wow, Tie's reasons can also be reasons why the Devils win the Cup! AMAZING!
LizDevil30
No way Ducks win in six. Devs ain't losing four in a row, but I definitely seeing them winning the next two! LETS GO DEVILS! TWO MORE WINS!
