But it is stupid they have three 'rotating' songs. Why not just have a poll with the top three vote-getters? There might have been one clear winner then. Asking people what they want when there are a hundred choices is a little different than asking what they want when there's only three, of course the vote's going to be pretty spread out. I still say this is the golden opportunity for some band to record a new song that's perfect for being played by sports teams all over the place, and reap the benefits for the rest of their lives. I haven't really looked, but are fans of other teams this worked up over a song played after they score? Anyway, in 93-94 they rotated Gary Glitter and Whoomp There it Is and nobody seemed too upset. I watched the Mother's Day Walkout game recently and after we scored, they just played a little ditty on the organ each time, the fans in 88 seemed to be able to handle that. It actually tied in reallly well. I think that would be pretty cool if the Devils used that one. (never heard it but gave it a listen) I think they will settle for something, and let's get behind it! whatever it is! If anyone really gives a schizzle what Ranger or Flyer fans think?
