DevilMinder
@TGfireandice 5mLamoriello: "It's time to give Reid a look." Lamoriello made it sound like Boucher will play in a top 9 role tonight.
dmann422
Gotta say im surprised. I hope he gets top minutes, preferably with Elias and/or henrique. I guess he can't be worse than Brunner.
sundstrom
intriguing - he's in for carter. i imagine if henrique can't go, that's tedenby's spot. zubrus-zajac-jagr brunner-elias-bernier boucher-loktionov-ryder tedenby-josefson-janssen that's a bit of a mismash but we'll see what we get. Triumph
Well, he is tearing up the AHL - 7th in the league in shots, on pace for 39 goals in an 80 game season - still didn't expect this unless he's getting an extended look.
sundstrom
let's see if they do lines in practice before i guess since it looks like henrique's in by lou's quotes and that he's skating this morning
Daniel
Tom Gulitti @TGfireandice 1m Boucher wearing No. 15 on his helmet. Players just taking ice for morning skate. Henrique already out there.

Hope pete puta him with some better players
Colorado Rockies 1976
Why not? Guess they're not going to wait as long for some of the current crew to get it going as we thought. Could be a nice jolt.
DevilMinder
He's with Elias and Bernier, that has promise. He's gonna need rough lnemates
Devilsfan118
Might as well give him a look, but I don't think he's ready for a full time role yet.
dmann422
He's with Elias and Bernier, that has promise. He's gonna need rough lnemates good. And per TG loktionov looks like he's scratched along with tedenby. That should rile the feathers of those clamoring for a more offensively gifted 4th line. PWW
Love this. Really hope it works and helps jumpstart the scoring. Smart to put him with a guy like Patty who can possibly cover for him defensively. Still don't get Janssen/Sestito playing over Lokti but whatever. Happy they're at least trying something new. Devils Pride 26
Awesome news. Really can't play worse than Brunner or Tedenby. Hope he gets top pp time
Daniel
Kind of nervous that we're going to get a wet blanket thrown on our hopes that Boucher is legitimate NHLer.
DevsMan84
Kind of nervous that we're going to get a wet blanket thrown on our hopes that Boucher is legitimate NHLer. Me too. I keep hearing that "Boucher is a beast" kind of mentality from a lot of fans but until he has proven himself that means nothing. I really hope he does well. Triumph
Kind of nervous that we're going to get a wet blanket thrown on our hopes that Boucher is legitimate NHLer. He's beating up the AHL at age 20. If anything keeps him from the NHL it's going to be defense/board play and that sort of thing. He's going to be able to score goals, though. devilsrule33
Happy a player was called up from the AHL that can actually help (sorry Sestito). Not to beat a deadhorse, but really don't get the scratches. In no universe should Sestito be playing over Loktionov, and looking at the Habs lineup, no reason for Janssen over Tedenby. I'd love to understand the point of tonight's 4th line. Edit: Guess it is Josefson being scratched instead of Loktionov. Point still stands. EdgeControl
hope the kid provides a needed spark. but i'll be interested to see how he plays in the D zone, particularly how he handles those breakout passes. if he can do that, he can stay awhile
