Does anybody happen to know what the line combinations are for Team USA yet?

 

Canada is this according to TSN.

 

Kunitz - Crosby - Carter

Sharp - Toews - Nash

Marleau - Getzlaf - Perry

Benn - Tavares - Bergeron

 

Keith - Weber

Bouwmeester - Pietrangelo

Vlasic - Doughty

 

St. Louis, Duchene, Subban, and Hamhuis are all extras.

That's what I'm getting at, that would be a great team. They're competing for gold, no question. Especially if there are two Bergerons. If I didn't support Quebec sovereignty before, that would have done it. Edited by thecoffeecake

Women's Olympic hockey is fun to watch. These women have some serious dangle in their game.

 

Switzerland is my darkhorse pick to medal. Great goaltending, solid D and no offense (and a brunner)...They should be a familiar team to watch.

I've seen a ton of great goaltending in these womens' games. Japan's and Finland's goalies were awesome, from what I saw. Most of these teams' defenses are piss-poor, so many defensive breakdowns, a lot of awesome goaltending performances have kept a number of these games relatively close. I wonder if it has anything to do with women being more agile and flexible?
