Brick Pig Posted October 10, 2014 Share Posted October 10, 2014 I have both the NJ Devils app and the NHL Gamecenter app on my iPhone 5. When I first upgraded to iOS 8, both apps stopped working. About a week ago I noticed they were working again. But then last night during the game, I found that I can't get the alerts to work on either app. If I open the apps, all the up-to-date info is there, but I can't get either app to show my alert information in Notifications or on the Lock Screen. silenttuba Posted October 10, 2014 Share Posted October 10, 2014 I have both also, and today decided to set up alerts for the Gamecenter app, since the ESPN alerts have become laughably unreliable. sundstrom Posted October 10, 2014 Share Posted October 10, 2014 (edited) i also didn't get any alerts for either app from scores edit: i noticed that there is a setting that says "breaking news only". i turned that off to see if it will fix next game. perhaps that's an override for everything else. I have scores turned off so why would I want to see that posted. It's a spoiler. That doesn't happen on the iPhone version of the app. It only shows me that if I have it selected in the alerts settings. (I mean, before the alerts stopped working.)
