  1. I think your being very harsh. A rubbish player wouldn't of had the chance to play for Man Utd, Real Madrid and captain his country! He has immense work rate, an expert in keeping possession, the best in the world at free-kicks, corners and long range passing. Not mention the influence hes going to have on the team. (... and what Liz said as well) So just please give the guy a break, he's just trying to improve a sport in a country. If he fails, so what. At least he can say he tried at an age where he could of continued at a high level in Europe.
  2. England recall David Beckham back to the squad for the friendly match against Brazil (first international at wembley) and the must-win game against Estonia in the qualifiers, after last playing for the national team against Portugal in the world cup and resigning as england captain (while crying). Incidentally, L.A. Galaxy have ruled out a move for becks to join a european club on loan in the winter.
  3. Haha, not much pleases you does it. I take it you think a hole in one is lucky then!

  6. Manchester United's illustrious friendly against a European XI ended in a 4-3 victory for Sir Alex Ferguson's side in a game that raised $2.42million for charity. Full Report
  7. Semi Finals First Leg Results: Man Utd 3-2 AC Milan Chelsea 1-0 Liverpool Second Leg Results: Liverpool 1-0 Chelsea (Ag. 1-1) (Liverpool win 4-1 on penalties) AC Milan 3-0 Man Utd (Ag. 5-3)
  8. he had an excellent record at River Plate, but not as good with spartak moscow, he still cost $13 million though!!!!
  9. David Beckham is to leave Real Madrid at the end of the season and sign a five-year deal with Major League Soccer's Los Angeles Galaxy. The former England captain is to quit Madrid when his contract runs out in June after agreeing a deal worth $248million. He will kick-off the new MLS season in August. Beckham said in a statement: "This week, Real Madrid asked me to make a decision regarding my future and the offer to extend my contract by a further two seasons. "After discussing several options with my family and advisers to either stay here at Madrid or join other major British and European clubs, I have decided to join the Los Angeles Galaxy and play in the MLS from August this year. Full Story Apparently hes going to earn $955,000 a week! which is almost double of what the leading weekly salary is (Alex Rodriguez of the New York Yankees $485,000)
