  1. Ok, you want facts. The Devils play in the most densely populated area in the country. They also play in an area that has one of the highest per capita incomes and most disposbale income in the country. They put a succesful team on the ice every year, and yet they are at or near the bottom of the league in attendance every year. Why is that? According to you there are tons of Devils fans, and yet they don't sell out playoff games. Let me here your briliant rebuttle. Let me guess; ticket prices, blah, blah, blah, parking, blah, blah, blah, traffic, blah, blah, blah, meia bias, blah, blah, blah.
  2. Two games in the entire second round of the playoffs didn't sell out; they were both at the CAA. Most arenas in the league have traffic and parking issues and all playoff tickets are expensive. They're just aren't that many Devils fans, period. That doesn't make the people that do follow the team bad fans. If you enjoy going to the games, why do you care what anyone else says about attendance?
  3. Not selling out a weekend playoff game really isn't anything to be crowing about.
  4. Brodeur is pointing the finger at his teammates waaaaaaay too much this series. Game three is on him, with an assist to an idiotic penalty by Langenbrunner.
  5. Amen. Please let this season signal the end of the $2 million role players.
  6. Philadelphia probably is the #1 hockey town in the U.S. at this point, only Detroit can rival it. The Flyers are neck and neck with the Eagles for most popular franchise in the city.

    TOM DROPS BOMB

An organization that signed a rapist talking about honor?
  8. He is being held at the federal prison in Ft. Dix.

    Zajac

Zajac's brother is an incoming freshman at UND next year. He'd probably prefer to get a chance to play with his brother than in the minors, so unless he feels he can make the Devil's I don't think he'll sign until after next year. If he did sign and got 12 to 15 minutes per game, I think he could have a rookie season comparable to Jeff Carter's.
  10. Not only was he -3, he was actually on the ice for 5 goals against.
  11. A corneal abrasion isn't that big of a deal, although it hurts like hell. I had one wrestling in college. It's beasically a scratch in the film of your eyeball. There's a drop used to treat it, I forget the name, but you keep your eye covered with a patch and use the drops and it heals in about 3 or 4 days. A corneal ulceration is more serious and that takes weeks to heal.
  12. Slegr, Frank Kaberle, Baumgartner, Corvo, and possibly Kim Johnsson should be relatively inexpensive.
  13. You might be able to find a taker for McGillis at $2.2 million for next year. If BOTH Mogilny and Malakhov have to be bought out, it would be about a $2.4 million cap hit each year for the next two years.
  14. No Janssen in the lineup means Brashear will be trying to run people out of the building, and Marshall is probably going to take a beating tonight.
  15. NHL agents get a 4% commission, not 10%
