DevilNurn
http://www.nhl.com/ice/news.htm?id=509147 I didn't even see this until tonight, can't believe it flew under the radar. Not that Emery was necessarily doing terribly well, but it's going to be tough to start Brian Boucher and backup Johan Backlund (I watched him play in the AHL, I wouldn't call it inspiring play) and try to get out of this skid they're in. I'm not counting the Flyers out of the playoffs yet, but this sure makes it tougher.
Devil Fan
Maybe the Isles can trade Biron back to Philly and Laviolette can use him immediately for tonight's matchup.

Neutral Zone Trap
I am sorry but this matters because....................? The Flyers are a division rival, anything that happens to a division rival effects the Devils.
LucifersDog
The Flyers are a division rival, anything that happens to a division rival effects the Devils. OH how stupid of me. Flyers are 13 of 15 in Conference and the bottom of the Division. Yeah that is important.

Why did you bother to click the thread and post in it. Next time just skip it instead of telling us what hockey news we are allowed to talk about in a HOCKEY forum. Par9
^^^^ So how are the rebulding Isles ahead of the Flyers who are supposed to be a cup contender? You can't win. You take your anger out by stabbing other of your OWN fans. I guess I got off topic about Emery's injury. If Parise or Brodeur get hurt it's your fault. You're on thin ice as it is,grow up. That's a tough break for the Flyers. If they do recover from this recent run of bad form, they are going to be one hell of a dangerous team.

I didn't mean to offend you NZT. Yea its bad for Emery but overall if this affects our division rival and they don't play as well I'll take it. I just think it's not nice to chuckle at an injury. I know it's Philly and they are scumbags etc, but headcase or not, Emery is ok in my book. Now if it was #16 of the NYR, that's a different matter, I hope he ends up like Steve Moore. This has nothing to do with #16 playing for NYR, I didn't like him in Det-LA or Dallas. Not only is a cancer to the game, he's a tosser off the ice too, he needs to be removed from the NHL asap. Basically, if the player is an a$$hole, their demise is a good thing,(think Theo Fleury, Tie "turtle" Domi) if they are just a rival player I wish them a speedy recovery. Like I hope Dubinsky comes back soon, I know he's a NYR, but he's not a twat like #16.

Hammer
Maybe the Isles can trade Biron back to Philly and Laviolette can use him immediately for tonight's matchup. It wouldn't be the first time NYI traded within the division to hurt everyone else and get nothing. I am still upset over that stupid Guerin trade last year where he was a salary dump and without Guerin Pens do not win the cup. He was their bloody captain! yankeesjetsfan
Maybe it's just me, but I think it's a plus for the Flyers. I don't think much of Emery. Bouchard may actually work out. He looked good last night.
Devil Dan 56
After the latest revelation about Fleury I have changed my opinion about him and actually feel sorry for him now. Yeah, it's not hard to see why he was messed up. As for Emery, I've said it for a long time. He has all the talent in the world. He is a great goaltender. If he gets his head straight, he will be just fine.
