I know they are trying to cut costs but I'm sure fans and media would like to have the book in front of them. There goes my collection from '82 I guess... My understanding was that there were just too few people who actually wanted it enough to pay (the admittedly high cost) for it anymore. It strikes me as less "cost cutting" than deciding to spend money more wisely. I can agree that it's annoying, though. Not that I'd buy one, you know, but still... I did see the PDF out on the web site. You are correct though that it's hopefully spending wisely as opposed to cost cutting as it appears that money is tight.
