Just saying Hi - From NJ but living in Southern CA now

Recommended Posts

Hi - Just wanted to introduce myself here. I've been living out in southern CA now since 2001 and a Devils fan since the early 90's. It's funny, but I run into a lot of Devils fans out here. Whenever I wear my Daneyko jersey, I get stopped every time. And whenever I wear it or my Brodeur jersey to a Kings game (hey - it's either that or drive down to a ducks game, and there's no f'ing way I'm going to do that unless the Devils are out here again) I always run into people who are Devils fans too. Funny I've yet to see a single rangers jersey out here...

Hoping to fly out for the opening day at the new arena...

Welcome aboard!

My bro moved to SoCal. He's been brainwashed by the Ducks though. :puke:

All the old Rag fans go to Florida. Snowbirds.

Good job on Representing the Devs. Keep it up and "See you in Newark"

You know it's crazy, when I was in San Diego last year I just had to wear my Devils jersey at least once, and it was amazing how many comments I got on it...someone even screamed "GO DEVILS" out of their car as I was walking with my girlfriend.

They love their east coast hockey down in SD I guess? :noclue: It was rather awesome.

Some chick tapped me on the shoulder in the mall the other day because I had my Broduer shirt on and she was like "I love your shirt. You don't see too many around here." Haha sad thing was...it was in my state(which is pretty much dominated by Rags and Isles fans). :doh1:

I don't know about SD, but in the Staples Center I keep running into other people wearing Devils jerseys. The last two non-Devils games we went to (I'm just not including the Devils vs. Kings game for obvious reasons) were the Kings vs. Vancouver and the Kings vs. Dallas. Both times I wore one of my jerseys. And both times we ran into other people wearing Devils jerseys too. It was awesome!!
