2ELIAS6
last that i had heard i dont think jagr wanted anything to do with coming to nj anyway.
ATLL765
I would love to have Jagr to play with Kovalchuk and Loktionov..against soft minutes they would torch. Jagr on the right wall for the PP would be gold as well. No doubt, but again, it would be monumentally odd for Lou to acquire Jagr.

ZeroGravityFat
According to the place he blogs, he says he wouldn't want to be traded, but if he doesn't sign with the stars, devils look to be the main trading partner he will consider. Pepperkorn
hey - One upside for Jagr: it would be a wonderful opportunity to "accidentally" bitch slap Coach Stevens with his stick on a regular basis.
hystyk28
I can see this happening. Why? 2 words: ATLANTIC CITY. JJ is, let's just say, fond of gambling. I know he used to take helicopter trips from Philly to AC and I was told that him signing in Philly was due to how close he was to casinos. Come Lou, he'll fix the PP and single handedly turn AC around!

He is playing for the Devils and Isles away from entering the exclusive "Atlantic Division Club"
Daniel
I could see some deal that involves Fayne and some kind of conditional draft pick. Perhaps instead of Fayne, it would be Urbom or Gelinas.

Also, JJ said he was content in Dallas. Jagr doesn't wanna leave the state income tax free state. That's why he went there and I dunno why he'd wanna leave now

DH26
He doesn't have an NTC/NMC. Nieuwendyk wants to re-sign him though and he wants to stay there so they're probably not getting rid of him. He probably doesn't think whatever return he'd get would be worth it if Iginla's return wasn't great by any means

He probably doesn't think whatever return he'd get would be worth it if Iginla's return wasn't great by any means Jagr doesn't have an NMC - Iginla does. Iginla wanted to go to one team, a team that wasn't desperate for him. Jagr would net a 1st at least, but Jagr is also older.

I'd be afraid of Jagr just bc of how much he fell apart at the end of last year but if Nieuwy wants to keep him, I doubt they move him no matter the return unless it blew them away that's all I meant

maxpower
Tell Jagr that New Jersey is the home of online gambling and he'll be on the next plane out. Always wondered why he signed with Philly, then I remembered he's a compulsive gambler. In that case, he must be miserable in Dallas.
