point
Why isn't Ryder shown on NHL.com player stats?
CarpathianForest
Why isn't Ryder shown on NHL.com player stats? Because once you go to the Devils NHL.COM removes your player profile. Just go to wikipedia.org
Neb00rs
Why isn't Ryder shown on NHL.com player stats? This happens every year for many or all of the free agents. Somehow if a player is not on a team he is disappears from the NHL.com player database. I don't know why they have never fixed this. Now that Ryder is signed, he should reappear soon. For now use these: http://www.hockey-reference.com/players/r/rydermi01.html http://sports.yahoo.com/nhl/players/2499 http://www.hockeydb.com/ihdb/stats/pdisplay.php?pid=35679 Edited July 7, 2013 by Neb00rs

Bibby89
Big fan of his for a while now. How quickly did Lou tell him not to expect to keep that #73 though?

The 29th Pick
Big fan of his for a while now. How quickly did Lou tell him not to expect to keep that #73 though? how bout 37 or is that too high? whats the limit
ATLL765
how bout 37 or is that too high? whats the limit 29 for skaters. I imagine goalies can go buck wild with the numbers since they usually limit themselves to #s 1, 30,31,32,35, There's a few guys who wear other numbers, but they're few and far between. But for skaters, pick 2-29 and it's ok here, except for 3,4 and 27 and soon to be 30 and 26. It's only another couple players with retired numbers before there's more roster spots than acceptable sweater numbers to LL, lol.
Neb00rs
Which category of players would you place Kovy in? I guess he missed that one.
Bibby89
I think Fayne wore 34 for his call up towards the end of the season a few years back. That's the highest I can remember since Mogilny.
sundstrom
32, 33, and 34 get handed out occasionally. clemmer got 40.
Derlique
If PR was smart they'd announce numbers ASAP to try to boost jersey sales. I could see Schneider and Clowe jerseys becoming extremely popular. But this is the Devils we're talking about
NewarkDevil5
What about Doug Gilour (93) and Stephane Richer (44)? Lou has made exceptions in the past.
Devil Dan 56
Lou has made exceptions for players who were established with a higher number before coming here. He may let Ryder have 73. Wouldn't shock me to see him with 23. My pure guesses Ryder 23 Clowe 10 Olesz 25 Schneider 1 or 35. Rookie d-man 2 or 7 depending on Zids. Bibby89
Since we're just guessing and it's a boring night...I had: Ryder - 12 Olesz - 15 Clowe - 23 Schneider - 35 Also assuming Josefson goes back to 16. I don't think he stays at 9.
HellOnICE
Schneider wore 1 at BC, but that was Luongo's number. He did wear 35 with the Moose and the 'Nucks. I think Ryder might get 73 if he wants it. Who knows on Clowe. I wish they'd fly Clowe, Schneider, and Ryder down for development camp next week and do a press conference.
