  1. Oh puleez...Adam Oates even said RayRay did what I said he did...disgruntled???? Excuse me but what dew I have to be disgruntled about? The fact that my team is owner of the Stanley Cup again??? As for loyalty...you must be a new gener or one helluva sick old timer, that thinks the world owes you something and loyalty means squat...what have you done for me yesterday...as for the Bruins...they can dew the same thing that the Avs can dew....SUCK EGGS RAW AND ROTTEN...now if you will excuse me, must be time for your cookies and milk....run along What are you? 6? Do people grow up and learn to spell, you show your ignorance when you type....there was alot more to that Bourque situation than you know about, or care to admit....he owed Boston NOTHING, they didn't fulfill their promise to him, so he fulfiled a promise to HIMSELF! I know loyalty, and if my boss promised me something, I'd expect it, not cheap imitations, or pathetic substitutes, i'd do whats best for me, because as long as he's getting paid, he owes noone anything.... Your a pathetic example of a Devils fan....
  2. I didn't take it that way either....but as for me saying F*CK LOYALTY, it WAS in the case or Bourque alone....as for Kariya, i'm sure theres some other reason lurking behind that, that no one knows....
  3. I said ANY disgruntled fan, never singled out B's fans. They're no where near the player or fan favorite Ray was.... He might have RATHER done it as a BRUIN, but he still apprciates it all the more just having it.... It all happened when he signed Ray for 6 years at age 28 or 29 I believe it was....you don't have to tell me the Bruins management sucks, the whole NHL already has seen it.... The Bruins slapped Ray in the face, you expected something less? Of course you will, your a bitter disgruntled Devils fan....your team got beat that year, you have NO EXCUSES....PATRICK ROY let in 1 goal combined in games 6 and 7, he GAVE the Devils a chance to win it, but they choked in game 6 and didn't show up for game 7....
  4. BTW, when did the Avalanche BUY a CUP???? Making trades and re-signing players for their market value isn't buying a Cup.... SAD???? You guys have a team that rarely sells out during the regular season and almost moved to Nashville a few years ago....
  5. Avs fan, eh? (PatrickRoy33) As do the Avalanche, Roy, Sakic, Foote, Forsberg etc. But only 2 times....so far. I expect it, but I know the loyalty to the Avalanche is based on winning, and thats what entices the players to want to play there, nothing more.... When did the Rangers make it to the playoffs? or did you mean the playoff race? Some players get greedy and learn the hard way.... I appreciate the Devils, as they're the only team that can compete with the West, and yes, what Lou has done should be the MODEL all teams are made after....but yes, the Avalanche have loyalty....the Avalanche fans felt the same way about de Vries leaving as you Devils fans felt about Holik, but like Holik, he'll learn the hard way....and when it comes down to it, it's better to rid your team of the unloyal money seekers and keep the ones who play with heart. The Avalanche have 9 division titles, and 2 Cups, you'd like the Avalanche to choke, but take a look at history, they've taken care of their players and their fans....btw, don't hold your breath on someone stabbing the Avs in the back....like I said, if it happens, it happens, it's better team without'em then.... Your argument was good to respond to, right up until you slipped on that Pamper and made that comment....stop being bitter because of some other teams success....
  6. I've NEVER once spoken for Bruins fans.... Never disputed that, but there was no way he was trading Ray to a confrence rival. The B's broke their loyalty to Ray, when he was re-signed, and he agreed to a contract that would keep him with the B's, PAST his eligibility for free agency, on Harrys word that they'd make a drive for the Cup. Ray asked for the trade because the Bruins have gone nowhere, and he saw they had no dedication to winning. As I mentioned before he was UNDER CONTRACT to the Bruins during that time period. I know exactly how the Bruins fans must feel....but don't think for a SECOND, that he wouldn't do it again. He didn't turn his back on you the fans, he turned it on the Bruins who didn't live up to their promise. I'm sure he isn't having a hard time coping with his win with the Avalanche....when he looks at that ring, he'll remember that an entire team kept a promise to him in one season, that an entire franchise couldn't even give him a sniff of in the recent 10 years of his career in Boston.... It was one of the rarest circumstances in NHL history....and should be remembered that way.... That I have to disagree with you on, just like the Devils beat the Ducks this past season, thats the same way it was for the Avalanche, Roy showed up for those last 2 games, and made a statement....the best team MIGHT not have won, thats debatable, but the most dominant money player showed up when the chips were down and the house was on the line.... I can't disagree there, see my other posts about uselESPN, they have no business doing hockey....
  7. Dew, backoff, don't speak on what you know nothing of....any disgruntled fan from another team thinks thats what happened, softens the blow from having to hear what a great team it was all the time....just because the Bruins are dedicated to losing doesn't mean Ray had to be, F*CK LOYALTY, especially when the Bruins broke their loyalty to Ray first....
  8. Neely was great, I hate Ulf Samuelsson for what he did.... Game 6 vs the Devils WAS the next game, wasn't it? Hey look! They have an Al Morganti emoticon
  9. Bruins fans can stay bitter for all I care, they should be mad at thier GM at the time, not Ray....when it came time for him to resign with Boston, he signed a contract past his free agency eligibility, and for ALOT less than he could have received for becoming a FA, JUST to stay in Boston because management told him they'd build a winning team around him with the money they saved from signing him....so when he realized they weren't keeping up their end of the bargain, he decided to realize his dream.... Brodeur will follow in Roy's footsteps as the next best thing, but Roy did play better after most mistakes....thats why he is one of the best of all-time.... But in both cases, I hated uselESPN's coverage of the Finals, and anything doing with the Avalanche that they broadcast....I watched the games on CenterIce til they were only exclusively on uselESPN, I wish they'd show the Canadien broadcasts of the Finals, they do such a better job....
  10. Morganti is alright, just has to make sure he clears a path on his eyebrow so he looks normal.... But yes, they're all garbage....nothing compares to HNIC, and I still think of Mike Emmerick as one of the best in the business....although Chico can be a bit retarded from time to time, I guess that comes from too many pucks to the head....
  11. Roy and Bourque are 2 of the best ever....I didn't see anything wrong with them, please give me some examples....
  12. I agree, they overblow Forsberg, although he's one of if not thee best in the game, they just overdo anything he does....but other than that, the uselESPN announcers are usually extatic when someone scored on the Av's, especially Roy....Thorne needs to go back to baseball, where the game is slow enough that he gets all the names right....Clement needs to go back to the clinic that gave him the vasectomy, and get it reversed....it's a shame that Saunders, Olczyk, and Strader are the only announcers worth a damn....you have Unibrow Morganti, Steve "should" Leavy (the announcers booth), Daren Pang who is pathetic with his commentary, and of course, the Flame Menon' Bitchygrass....does this tool have anything to do with hockey?
  13. I'm here because I wanted to know what his deal was....he repeats the same post over and over....with the Avs winning the Cup this year, as much as i'd like to see it, until they get a goalie or the "Swiss Miss" plays beyond his current output, I don't see that happening.... I respect the Devils as the only team in the East that can stand up to the teams in the West, and they were the first team I ever saw live....god I miss those Christmas jerseys
  14. Whats the story behind SBT? Been wondering myself since he joined the Avalanche site....
