Watched the last five minutes of the second. Burlon had good hockey sense to sneak in back door for a play but pushed it wide, "Fayne'd" it, if you will.

It looks as if his is a poorly coached team, gaps are massive and transition is non existent. Pesonen is by far the best Albany forward and certainly has 3rd line NHL skill or better, especially for a winger.

The selection of players for this game is mind numbing. Corrente, Parse, Whitney and Zalewski all out.

I think most people assumed this, but Lou was at the game tonight. My dad ran into him after the warm up and had a small convo with him.

This is how it's going to be - it's a developmental league. They're not going to put everyone in every night. They need to see what they have with players like Hoeffel.

I liked Hraberenka - showed good poise for his first game. He also got a surprising amount of ice time - felt like he was given 20 minutes. Pesonen was probably the best forward - he picked off two passes nicely and was causing trouble in the offensive zone.

Hoeffel did have surprisingly good wheels though. I think we'll see all 4 guys next game and people like Wiseman and Anderson will sit out.

I dont think pesonen had a great game. He played good but wasnt great in my opinion. you can definitely tell the kid has hockey sense though. he picked off some manchester passes, caused some turnovers from forechecking, and set burlon up for what should have been a goal. With all that said, he had some terrible turnovers throughout the game though.

I thought Larsson was the best player on the ice last night out of both teams, I honestly can't recall one mistake he made, he looked like a stud on the back end. I thought JJ looked good and I liked Butler's game personally, Henrique played ok. Tedenby looked like same old Tedenby, kid's gotta step it up if he wants to stay with the Devils.

EDIT: Also I thought Kinkaid looked solid, kid definitely has potential.
