ooinvisiblekidoo
Hi all, So I tried to surprise my wife by ordering her a Patrik Elias jersey for opening night. When I went to the Devils Den to pick it up on opening night, it looked a little small. When the wife tried it on, it was definitely too small. I went back to the Devils Den and they would not let me exchange it for a bigger size because it was "customized". I am not looking to make any profit, just the amount I paid for the jersey ($144). Would anyone be interested in the jersey? I attached some pictures of the jersey as well. Message me if interested. Thanks guys!

DevsMan84
Yeah I agree that will be a VERY tough sell. NHL and Reebok have been at best bad and at worst embarassingly awful with their gear aimed at women and these women's jerseys are an example. Great idea but poor execution. I know in the beginning these came blank or pre-customized with Parise, but now I only see them blank. I once asked a sales associate who handles the in-store customization at the NHL store in Manhattan about women's jerseys and customization options and he said they are difficult as could be to customize. They are much smaller than NHL jerseys and because of their cut, they have to use a smaller sized font that is harder to get for them. Not only that, but you are pretty much restricted to smaller names like Elias and Zajac. Forget about even getting a Brodeur as that name would be too long. Not only that but to price them the same as men's jerseys is completely crazy and just more Reebok/NHL shooting themselves in their own foot. Good luck there with selling that jersey but I would just put it on ebay and just hope to get as much as you can. Given that its a women's jersey and that its a name like Elias, you might just take a small loss instead of a big one.
