Sarge18
Next pick is at the end of the 3rd round unless we trade. There are a few guys still out there that are suprising. O'Sullican and Fristche are the first that come to mind.

Belizarius
Vrana : http://www.forecaster.ca/thestar/hockey/ex...d-e23-t96#p2675 Scouting Report: Led all QMJHL rookies with 83 points in 72 games for the Mooseheads last year--placing him 25th in overall league scoring. Can play both center and the wing, and is equally adept at scoring goals or accumulating helpers. Lacks size and strength, so his professional future probably lies at the pivot position. Racked up 15 assists in 24 playoff games for the Mooseheads this spring, showing an acute ability to find open linemates. Must prove capable of fending off defenders as he moves up the ranks. Bio page >>> Impact: Another tremendous move by Devils GM Lou Lamoriello, Vrana has a huge upside. He will not be rushed--few are in New Jersey--but could wind up a top-six forward in the not-too-distant future. Adding both Parise and Vrana was big for a team that, despite their Stanley Cup triumph, lacked offense throughout the organization.
MaddDog
Carolina traded David Tanabe and Igor Knyazev to Phoenix for Danny Markov and a conditional pick. Christ, maybe it's a good thing I missed the draft then!!!!!!!!! Why did they give up Knyazev who is one of the FEW halfway decent defensive prospects they have????? NJDF
ESPN'S Hradek's review of Parise: 17. New Jersey Devils: Zach Parise, C. And the Devils win again! GM Lou Lamoriello traded up to take Parise, who might just be a better version of Scott Gomez. Parise, the son of former NHLer J.P. Parise, impressed scouts at the World Junior Championships in Halifax. During his freshman season at North Dakota, Parise piled up 25 goals and 57 points in 34 games, impressive numbers for a first-year college player. At 5-11, 186, he's not a monster, but you don't have to be in New Jersey (see also: Brian Gionta). GO DEVILS!!!
MaddDog
Well they do have a point with size not being an issue with guys like Madden, Brylin and Gionta. I was hoping for a brute but his rank was very good and if he can skate and score, that's all that matters. He looks like Prince William.... Hmm, does that mean all the 15-year-old teeny bop female Devils fans will swoon over him? I have no idea what he looks like since I MISSED the show
