Quinn01
I thought it would be cool to see what everyone's favorite piece of memorabilia that they have in their arsenal. What would it be? njdevils2003champs
Some of my memorablila is just about every media guide from the Devils. Numerous amounts of jerseys, pucks, ECC & SC stuff and also 2 pairs of 2004-05 Devils season tickets.
JWomp
It's hard for me to pick just one item...but I can narrow it down to two. First is Brian Gionta's 2003 game worn playoff home jersey, used in all four rounds of the playoffs and in games 1, 2, and 5 of the Stanley Cup Finals: My second favorite item is my game used Martin Brodeur stick. It was used on December 18, 2009 in a 4-2 win against the Ottawa Senators. Brodeur turned aside 27 of 29 shots and picked up an assist while setting the NHL record for most career appearances by a goalie. It was Brodeur's 1,030th game, putting him one ahead of Patrick Roy. DevsMan84
I have a bunch: I still have all my ticket stubs to the Stanley Cups finals games I have been too (almost every single finals home games in 95,2000, 01, and 03) My Ken Daneyko bobblehead that looks nothing like him. My game program from Brodeur's record-breaking 552 win game (Parise also autographed the cover as he is pictured on the cover as well) A Penguins game program from the game Brodeur broke the shutout record in Pittsburgh a couple seasons back. My autographed Mike Peluso starter white jersey.
NJCroMag
Perfectly-preserved stem cell samples from Martin Brodeur, Scott Stevens and Zach Parise. One day, I'm gonna breed me one hell of a Devils team. Just waiting for the right moment. Hang tight, fellas.
Microwavepizza
2 signed Sticks... one by Petr Sykora (Game played stick) and another by Valeri Zekepukin also, i have a picture with Marty in 2000 (i was like 14) as well as a picture with the cup
Devil Dan 56
I'd have to say autographed Peluso jersey with the '95 patch. Front also has Dowd, Driver, McAlpine and Zelepukin from 95 cup night a year or 2 ago. Also the old beat up red hat I wore when they won the 95 cup is hanging on my wall. I bought it at a convenience store in 1994 and wrote all my favorite players on the inside of it.
skeeter
I have two tickets from Game 6 in Dallas that weren't used. Some Stars fan posted on the old rivals board that he brought the wrong tickets to the game and would send them to a Devil fan. I was the lucky guy who got them. When they came it turns out that his seats were the same section and row in Reunion Arena as my seats in the Meadowlands, 228 row 16. Couple other things off the top of my head. Tickets from every home playoff game since 1994, opening night 1982 pennant, and a victory card from 1984 I believe.
DevilNurn
Okay, I have a piece of memorabilia and a story that goes with it. So, back when I didn't have season tickets and back when we didn't go to Devils games all that often, my family were casual Devils fans and we used to go on trips organized by one of the churches in a town nearby. You'd get real cheap tickets for sending a group and so they just sent a bus from this church on the night of the games. So I decided to have a few friends go with me to a Devils game for my birthday party, this was 2001. I think it was about 5 of us and we had a blast, we got on the camera at the CAA, we were all really happy. The Devils lost, against the Senators (who at the team were just about the best team in hockey), but it didn't bother us so much. So anyway after the game we're going to get back on the bus back to the church and the bus driver (who I didn't know and hadn't talked to) pulls me aside and says that she knows some guys who work with the team and she heard it was my birthday, so she saw what she could do. She hands me a box and I open it up: inside is a mini-stick signed by Patrik Elias . I couldn't express how excited I was, all I knew was that the Devils had won the Stanley Cup the previous year and Elias was a rookie but a big part of it. I really treasure that thing, and I still wonder how that stick made its way to me, and who the bus driver was, and if it really was just some crazy chance. Very cool though. I also have some pucks and cards signed by some players, but that Elias stick takes the cake.
cubanjd305
These are great pieces of memorabilia. Living far doesn't allow much but I'm happy with my Elias-Parise-Zajac signed 16x20
Jerzey
Got this when they used to have open practices at South Mountain Arena... The reverse side of that is a sign they were giving out before a game that said "Let's Go Devils". I took it to a practice and had everyone sign the back. DevsMan84
You just need to pick and choose what you do in life from job, to dining out, to having kids, to getting food at a hockey game. Eh true but I don't eat out too often, I work a pretty decent job with a pretty good salary, rarely get food at the games and I do not plan on having any kids. I guess I just spend it on other things like vacations and stuff instead of hockey memoribilia. But hey, to each their own and your list as well as Ken's and JWomp's is very impressive:)

But hey, to each their own and your list as well as Ken's and JWomp's is very impressive:) Our vacations are few and far between. We usually reinvest in our home and property when we schedule vacations. We both are not big fans of the beach so there is a trip that we do not take that many do. I also do not smoke and don't drink nearly as much as I did when I was younger. I can go months without a beer although it is ill-advised! I'm sure there are different things we all do that could lead to extra money for hobbies. In addition, I live 3+ hours away so I don't make a lot of Devils games so Centre Ice is my choice to watch although with the current direction the team is going in, I'm not watching nearly what I used to. It also helps to have a supportive spouse or girlfriend.
jnuh
I have 16x20's signed by Marty and Parise (in his USA uni)and 4 signed jerseys ... 1 Marty, 1 Parise, 1 by most of the 95 cup team (missing Niedermeyer, Lemiuex, and Richer) and 1 by doc, Chico, and Dano. My all time favorite thing though is ... For those familar with McFarlane figures they put a rink out a few years back to go with the figures. I have been slowly working on getting it all graphed up along the boards and will eventually move onto the ice and glass. Right now I have about 25-30 autos on it. Most former and current Devils but this year since I have season tickets now I am going to start working on trying to get some road teams. When it is all said and done I hope to have 300 signatures on it. Currently the bigger names I have on it are Gomez, Gionta, Parise, Marty, Moose, Tedenby, Rafalski, Greene, Dano, Chico, and a bunch more I can not remember. JWomp
And my question to all 3 of you is how the hell can you all afford this stuff? Nearly everything in my collection (http://community.webshots.com/user/TJordan522) was fairly cheap, and acquired over a long period of time. That makes it easy to set aside a few dollars every month and slowly build my collection. I'm actually really careful with what I buy so I can still have enough leftover spending cash to enjoy the other things in life. Most of my collection was purchased with the money I earned from my part-time job in college. Now that I've graduated and am working full time, surprisingly I don't buy as much hockey stuff, even though I make more money, because I'm saving for the future.
