I really felt bad for the Sens at the end of the game, it was so weird seeing them sprawled out on the ice like that... both teams fought their asses off. The Devs will be around a while too... Brodeur and Lalime arent that distant in age... and for as long as we have Brodeur, we will have a cup team... I think this year prooves it... 2001 you could say its the team thats in front of him... We dont have a 45 goal scorer... As long as we keep building our team as we go, we'll never have a rebuilding year... Supposedly this was a rebuilding year, and look where we are... Itll be interesting to see who we can get for TiVo, maybe another hidden gem like Langenbrunner, or another struggling potential player like Frisen, Id welcome both... They will be back next year. Just hope for the organEYEzation and the fans of Ottawa that when their star player contracts are up that they will have enough money to resign them. Absolutely great series, I loved it (except Wednesday night and all of Thrusday then I was in a depression!) Thank you for being classy about it. I really do like the Senators and the organization.. this may be the Devils last chance at glory for a while, but the Senators will have years.. that are hopefully not cut short by labor problems..
