NYGDevils32
The biggest race of the year at Monmouth Park is this upcoming Sunday... The Haskell. Big Brown returns to the track for the first time following his miss at the Triple Crown at Belmont a couple months back. My pick at this point is Nistle's Crunch. He is a Jersey bred and he could be the first NJ horse to win The Haskell since 1980. I will be at the track hopefully winning some dough on Sunday. I don't go that much, but this race is always worth putting money on. Will any Jersey-natives be in attendance?

SatansDevils
I may actually be there this weekend to see Big Brown race. It should be a good crowd of fans there.
DaneykoIsGod
I really wanted to go but have a concert in A.C. that night. Looks like a great field this year. My money would be on whoever Jose Lezcano is riding ... dude's been on fire this year. Joey Bravo's Monmouth crown might be Lezcano's this year. SatansDevils
I usually bet on horses that are trained by Nick Zito. There are some good ones in that race coming up.

As far as the Haskell goes, Todd A. Pletcher is the money trainer. His horses have won the last two, and I think he has two going in this year's running. Should be some fun this weekend there with lots of fans.
DaneykoIsGod
Actually, it turns out I was looking at my calendar wrong. I WILL be able to make it to the Haskell. And I'm freakin pumped about it too! Where is everyone gonna be? I'll be rockin the picnic area like usual.
SatansDevils
Big Brown has done it again! He won the Haskell Invitational earlier tonight! Just getting in from the track and it was some hell of a race! Big Brown took off right out of the gates, but Coal Play (a Nick Zito horse who I had bet on and finished with Place ) led for most of the race until Big Brown took the last straight away and beat Coal Play to win the race. Coal Play was so close and looked like he just ran out of gas and finished in second. It was very exciting there today and it was just an amazing horse race. DaneykoIsGod
I'm pissed. Was supposed to go but overslept. Didn't get back from a concert last night till like 3 a.m. and just couldn't drag my sorry ass out of bed in time for the races. Oh well. What were Big Brown's odds? I was thinking about betting an exacta on him and Atoned, but sounds like Atoned didn't finish up front.

Atoned looked good in the first two turns and was in 4th then just died out.
