Johan Hedberg and Martin Brodeur combined age is just shy of 80 and neither played during the lockout. Henrique hurt. Kovalchuk annoyed. Yup, looks like Lou Lamoriello's got his Devils just where he likes them. Seriously, I think it'll be a tough road for Pete DeBoer's boys to get into the top eight but have learned through trial and error (okay mostly error and error) never to cound the Devils out when it comes to qualifying for the post-season. devilsrule33 Posted January 16, 2013 Share Posted January 16, 2013 I really don't think Burnside hates the Devils as much as his predictions say so, but it is funny how he takes the bait every time with this team. Funny question and response though. He owned up to it last postseason and wrote quite a few great articles for ESPN about the Devils team. His reasoning for why the team won't make it is fair.
