I believe he's also a finalist for the Washington job. I'm not 100% sure, though.Maybe Haviland? Dunno what hes up to.

“I think winning against them in the big stage, not just for me, but for the fans of New Jersey, people that are supporting us and always take a second seat to these guys for whatever reason, now they’ve got to be pretty happy going to work and going to school and doing all their things that they do." - Martin Brodeur

Probably just 'call up' one of the assistant coaches from the AHL. Or maybe PDB has a buddy who is in need of a job.

Scott Stevens?
We have Larry Robinson in the role Stevens would play. We need an offensive minder/power play guy if Oates was to leave. If Larry retires/leaves, then Im game for Scotty.

Hello fellow American. This you should vote me. I leave power. Good. Thank you, thank you. If you vote me, I'm hot. What? Taxes, they'll be lower... son. The Democratic vote is the right thing to do Philadelphia, so do.

Right. Maybe we'll find someone who's willing to take Kovy off the blue line.if we lose oates and put a goat in his place, i think the power play will be unstoppable.

No media source or anything for this but I was told this past Monday that Oates already moved out of the house he had been renting and it was somewhat abrupt. The person who told me this indicated that he had been released by the Devils. Again, no media source, just a neighbor.
Kinda like last year when Oates sold off all his Devils stuff....
