njdevs89
Hall and Henrique did play together for the spitfires years ago...and Lou loved that team (drafted Harry Yound and traded for Loktionov)...would love to see Hall here... probably going to take our 1st and a solid d man and prospect though... coldply123
Its going to take Greene and Henrique to get a player like Hall Hall and Henrique played together. The idea would be to perhaps enlighten Hall by playing on the same team as Henrique. If the Oilers trade anybody significant i expect it will be this offseason. They're clearly not getting the kind of offers they want for other lesser players.
Daniel
Its going to take Greene and Henrique to get a player like Hall I think what it would take to get Hall would be something that at least includes the Devils first round pick this yearl, and closer to the trade deadline to be more sure that the Devils will be somewhere around the bottom five. The Oilers, without Hall, are a very good bet for McDavid or Eichel. With another lottery pick with plausible shot of winning, they could end up with both of them, and end up with a dynasty eventually.
ATLL765
Panthers vs Caps in a SO. Went through the whole bench. Still going.Panthers scored 5 times to tie the SO and keep it going. Daniel
Vaslilevsky apparently looked really good in his NHL debut. Man, Tampa should be good for a long, long time.

PacificDevil
Funny how Florida signed all free agent shootout specialists (Boyes, J. Jokinen) + Bjugstad. I actually saw their shootout Vs San Jose earlier this year, amazing skill especially Jokinen and Bjugstad

Devilsfan118
Pretty sure the Panthers scored more shootout goals in that one game than the Devils have in the past two years. Am I wrong?

Daniel
Woohoo, another lock-out on the horizon: http://m.thn.com/blog/nhlpa-boss-don-fehr-owners-likely-to-lock-out-players-again/ Meh, if there is another lockout, I think it'll be more like the last NFL one where the preseason gets cut short, but you don't lose any regular season games. The last two lockouts had a lot more issues that had to be worked out. For example, from press accounts, a major point of disagreement with the players and the owners was over maximum contract lengths to avoid front loaded deals. The seven/eight year formula has seemed to work out pretty well for both sides. While there are always unforeseen disagreements, right now it seems like the main, and perhaps only issue of significance will be agreeing to a number so far as the revenue split and escrow. A collapse of the KHL would also give players fewer options and would make coming to a new agreement easier.

I mean whoever is going to make a play for more is going to look real bad in the eyes of the forum of public opinion and I doubt either wants that. I think with the issue will more likely be about the definition of what counts as HRR and what does not. But I believe you are correct in that at worst this will be a minor lockout since most of the other major issues have been resolved. The new contracts rule seems to have worked out well for both players and owners.

Zubie#8
Stallberg is a must claimHe looked good with Chicago, I would love to give him a try. Hes at 3M at 2 more years but we'll probably move Ryder and he basically replaces Brunner. It didnt work with the Preds but maybe he can find his game with us, its worth a gamble. Why not? We have nothing else at RW. Edited December 19, 2014 by Zubie#

Chimaira_Devil_#9
Stalberg is going down for conditioning. Nashville Want to keep him. I can see this being one of those situations where no one claims him so they don't poss off another GM, so there isn't any form of revenge claim. If I was a GM I would be cautious. As a fan I would do it in a second.

MadDog2020
no one is going to claim Larson? a little riskyExactly. You think if we put Larsson or Gelinas on waivers right now no one would claim them so they don't piss off Lou? Not a chance. You do what you gotta do to make your team better. I don't care about Nashville or their problems.
