I was online at 9 AM tickets went on sale but was unable to get any for opening night. Right away I went over to stubhub and ordered my tickets (2 $20 seats for $130 each...talk about overpayment but hey, I really want to be there to open the arena). My tickets were supposed to ship first on the 20, but they didn't, then again today (22) but they didn't. It is expected to take 2 days to ship, although that may not always be reliable. If they don't ship by Wednesday or Thursday then I don't see how they get here on time. Sure stubhub has a fan protection policy, but thats not enough for me. I really have been looking forward to going to the first game at the new arena and no money can replace that. My emergency plan is to get to the arena way early for the $10 seats and hope I don't miss out on them. Still the hassle is a real annoyance. I do hope if stubhub has to refund my money they give me it all, but I bet they keep some of it. Has anyone ever had a problem with stubhub? Not to rub salt in the wounds, but there are $100 pairs in the Mezzanine right now on Ticketmaster in the 1st two rows. Maybe you could buy those and StubHub your $20 seats? Amberite Posted October 23, 2007 Share Posted October 23, 2007 I actually found a great company that sells tickets through StubHub but they'll sell you the tickets directly to avoid those ridiculous convenience charges. They called me in person as soon as I placed the order and called me again to let me know when they received and were shipping the tickets to me. Overall great experience and I would definitely use them again. If in the future if you don't want to go through StubHub, I'd recommend them. Executive Tickets (201) 585-2999.
