Here it is:

Even Hugh said it is a bit bare but that they will be adding more promo nights as they get closer to some games.  This is still just a "confirmed" list and they plan to have more added for this year.

Also note that 11/4 is Hockey Fights Cancer Night which is pretty much always also Mystery (Misery) Puck Night as well.

I remember going to stick day as a kid back in the mid to late 1980's.  They used to give out full sized street hockey sticks to kids 13 and under with printed autographs of the players on them.  To me, that was always the best promo, much like bat day used to be at Yankee Stadium.  Wish they would bring that one back for my children.

I'm sure they will have ski cap night (always thought they were rather nice), hat day, and other traditional promos.

Where can I find a Devils pocket schedule ?   I use to see a stack of them at my local convenience store on the counter. ( Free )

I actually saw them at a Smashburger last week.  They are a sponsor of the team now.

That sounds right. It's just doesn't make sense to me, I'm sure they could find a sponsor for it because bobblehead nights tend to draw bigger crowds. Seems like a no brainer, especially to just get more people in the building spending money.

Apparently the Chico Night giveaway was supposed to be a Chico bobblehead.  I heard many people say that the team told some STH's would be bobbleheads when Chico Night was first announced, but since the sponsor was not yet cemented they just listed it as a "special Chico giveaway."  From what I hear they couldn't find a sponsor to shell out enough for these so basically they had MSG sponsor the pins they gave out as a sort of last-minute replacement.

Further rumor states they couldn't get the tiny toupees to stay on the Chico bobble heads so they scrapped the idea.

I think it has been at least 7 years since the last bobble head night

More

The Rock opened 7 years ago, and there has been 0 bobbleheads given away at the new building

Lou is adamantly against them; as this is too much emphasis on the individual.  Hopefully when he goes, they come back....

The last one given away was Dano, I believe sometime in 2004

Marty, Stevens and NJ Devil were all right around the same time, I believe 2003

They are hands down my favorite promo items, here are most of mine in my Devils cave:

It wouldn't even cost much to the sponsor; whoever the Devils have in charge of these projects royally SUCK at it....

Yeah actually you are right it has been longer. I have all of them except NJ Devil and they were around 2003-2004.

That 4-set of parise, elias, brodeur and langs was part of a set that was given away to STH and those who bought a special plan around 2009-2010 if I remember right. They had so many left over that they had them for sale at the Devils Den store at the arena for like $25.

They gave the 4 pack away to people who bought one of their weekend or mini plans

They gave a 4 pack with each bobble signed to full STH's that year (I got this one)

They eventually dumped off the non signed extras in the Team Store

That's an awesome display case! Just seems silly not to have bobble head nights. It puts people in the seats and we can never have enough of that.

Thanks!  It is ridiculous not to have them; it would certainly increase attendance for those mid-week games against less than desirable opponents.

The best part about it is they can get a sponsor to foot the bill!  Makes ZERO sense not to do them....hopefully they are brought back one day.  I have been told this day will not come until Lou is out!

This is the truth.

I mean come on, no puck night even.

The promos have sucked since we left CAA

I am trying to think here; I think the best Pru Center promo has to be the Niedermayer Retirement Night Mini Banner....and the Marty 552 mini stick

I can't even think of any other decent ones....

The cap giveaways have been pretty good.  I remember the 2012 retro night was the cap giveaway too with those green and white retro-ish hats and they were pretty nice.  Much better than the CAA days where I remember they used to give away crappy painters hats for "hat day" with a huge DevilDog logo on them (it seemed between 1993-2000 everything was sponsored by either SportsChannel/Fox Sports/MSG, The Wiz, DevilDog, Modells, Konica or Carvel).

I remember I believe during the 2010-11 season they gave away one of those "As seen on TV" items to everyone during a game against Columbus I believe.  They had a vote amongst the 5 items and the one that "won" was that interior car windshield cleaner thing.  I say "won" because I don't believe that is what most people voted for as the other stuff was nicer (MagicJack, some sort of soda can topper, jeans button mover, etc).

Mystery (Misery) Puck night is always fun and that's coming back tomorrow.

They did a nice winter hat a few years ago too, mainly red with black and a thin white stripe....

The windshield cleaner thing was random; I want a Devils item as a giveaway

Look at what the Islanders are doing. I'll admit, these are fvcking awesome:

Those are sweet. This isn't a knock at ownership but a knock at whoever is in charge of sponsorships and promotions. Look at basically every minor league team in hockey and baseball and they are always having some kind of giveaways because sponsors paid for them. I find it really hard to believe that it's that hard to find sponsors for giveaways for the Devils.
